Chapter 4: Do I know you?
Excited to dance, Sonal Arora and Jasmine Singh but stood up to dance, Jasmine went along with her boyfriend Rohit Burih, and Sonal went with her arranged date Yash Prahtab.
Upon seeing that Sonal was dancing with Yash, Gevan Arora and his wife Shruti Arora, Sonal's step mother were pleased. They then proceeded to dance with the other couples in the dance floor.
While everyone was having a really good time dancing with wives or girlfriends, Prakash was furious. He wanted to dance badly with the girl he had fallen in love with, he even refused dancing with any of the girls Sagar introduced him to.
Sagar and Pulkit wanted to have fun and not waste any time so they continued dancing with their dates. Prakash decided to drink away but unknowing to him he was served a spiked drink.
One of the damsels loved Prakash, in the past, she had had a fling with him and slept with Prakash severally hoping that one day, Prakash will fall in love with her.
She has being studying Prakash all along from the time she stepped foot into the banquet hall.
She noticed that he has his eye on another woman and not her but unknowingly to her, not just any woman, but a woman that is very capable, that surpasses her abilities way above what she can even think about.
Out of jealousy she decided to spike Prakash's drink so she could have him all to her self away from that unknown woman.
Having drank the spiked drink, Prakash became drunk, he is not the kind of man to drink and get drunk. And as a result of this knowledge of him, his friends, Sagar and Pulkit were relaxed while dancing with their dates on the dance floor.
The damsel who spiked Prakash drink was delighted because Prakash was drunk but before she could make her next move to take Prakash away to Delhi suites, Prakash stood and started moving towards Sonal Arora, the woman he loves but know nothing about and even her name was mysterious to him.
He staggered on his way and almost fell on the dance floor, his buddies did not notice this, but when they saw him on the dance floor, they hailed him that he had finally gotten the courage to go dance with the damsel he loves who they don't know because Prakash never introduced her to them.
Sonal Arora was getting tired of dancing, so she told Yash Prahtab, seeing his fiancee tired, Yash took her to the side to rest and went back to the dance floor to continue dancing.
He was dancing with his bed mate unknowingly to Sonal, Sonal never really loved him but he looked like a gentleman, always pretending to Gevan and Shruti Arora, they were friends with his parents.
So after many considerations not to tarnish the long time friendship between both families, Sonal Arora agreed to marry Yash Prahtab.
Prakash still continued walking in his staggered state, the damsel who spiked his drink could not stop him, he lightly pushed her aside when she came close to him in the dance floor.
Yash's Bed mate was still dancing with Yash, backing Prakash, when Prakash got close to them he turned her around and to his surprise she was not his beloved, Yash got angry, pushed Prakash hands away from his bedmate and asked do I know you?
His buddies on seeing this quickly ran forward, apologised to Yash and took Prakash away. Everyone saw his protective nature for his dance partner including his fiancee but didn't reach meaning into it.
Sonal believed it is his nature to protect the innocent, which is a quality she liked about him, even though she doesn't love him but believed that one day, she might fall in love with him after they got married.
The little quaos quickly died down and the celebration continued to other items. The celebration finally came to an end and every distinguished guests then left.
