Chapter 78: Brushing Teeth

HaoRan's face darkened hearing the heartbreaking words from his older brother. As he was about to give words of comfort, JingYi spoke before him, "The problem is that man named Han XiGuang had decided to meet father who clearly isn't in a good mood."

"Why is father in a bad mood?" HaoRan questioned. It was rare to find that his father in a bad mood. He would always wear a frown on his face but never to the extreme where he would snap. The last thing it happened being when they were younger.

"The woman I am engaged with," JingYi started, as though he didn't even want to speak her name by calling her title. "Her father seemed to have made another foolish scandal."

"For father who doesn't like the exposure, this is bad," HaoRan whispered. "I will go back to my apartment but what about you?"

"I will take care of the problem here. Get some rest and I will call you back when everything has end," JingYi shooed him off.
