Chapter 61: Lara's New Scheme
Lara, Death, Hydron, Xylian, and the corpse were transported back to Thalos' place by the use of the Lara's Lunar Way. Thalos was enraged with anger as Death and the Nexus lost to the Masters of the Titans.
"This is unbelievable!! How come that the Titans were persuaded by an insect?! We need to find a way to go near to the Grand Soul Gem!! That incompetent Drexmar will go against me now!! It's a good thing you're there, Lara." Thalos said.
"I'm sorry, Thalos, but we have never thought that there is still a Shadow being as strong as Khan. That boy Ian, do have a great power. I will just regain my strength and need to get stronger to beat him." Hydron said.
"This is the first time in our lives that we are dominated. We must find a way to rebuild the Nexus!" Xylian added.
Thalos gave powers to the Corpse to help the Nexus fight Ian and to extinguish all of the Shadow attuned beings. "Each and every member of the Corpse is stronger than Death at this point. Make them as the New members of the Nexus, Hydron. Death will accompany me to get the Grand Soul Gem. Maybe it's time for me to step into the battlefield. I must defeat Kratos first before the new Masters of the Titans. I just need to merge with father." Thalos said.
Thalos set a meeting with the other Gods to relay the information about the Titans and the Masters of the Titans. He met nine Gods and Goddesses including Lilith. "Welcome, my friends. It seems that the second war is becoming irreversible now. I suggest we form an ally to sustain our supremacy. We must not be defeated by the Titans and mortals." Thalos suggested. "And what will be my prize if we win?" Hades, the God of Destruction asked. "I'll give you half of my territory, Hades. You can do what you want with it." Thalos offered Hades half of his territory just for him to be his ally. "Haha! And you expect me to trust you?! Haha. But still, even though we are not in good terms, Thalos, I still want to see the downfall of the Titans. I really want to settle things with Kratos and Draco, we still have our unfinished business so sign me in. And also, I would like you to meet another God of Destruction. His name is Lord Beerus from Sincrone Universe. He is the only survivor of the Armageddon." Hades introduced Beerus as one of their allies. "I'm glad you'll be joining us, Lord Beerus." Thalos acknowledged Beerus. Beerus is a silent type of God, who doesn't talk too much that's why he's one of the most unpredictable Gods.
Thalos informed them about the new Masters of the Titans situation. "I would like to inform you all that the Titans are planning something to extinguish us. They are using the new Masters of the Titans' powers in order for them finally fulfill their revenge against us. We should fight them again to really put an end to them. I need you to participate for us to preserve our kind."
Lilith saw Lara while Thalos is speaking and stood up to approach her. "Where are you going Lady Lilith?" Thalos asked Lilith.
"I think I saw a familiar face here just now. Will you just excuse me for a second?" Lilith requested. She followed Lara and Lara grabbed her in an isolated room to have a word with her. "How are you Lady Lilith?" Lara asked Lilith.
"Lara? Why are you here? And what is this all about?" Lilith asked.
"I need to talk to you about something important. This is all part of my plan." Lara said.
"Are you planning to go against your father?" Lilith asked.
"I need to protect the universe from him but I also want him to live and repent for his evil deeds." Lara said.
"That is quite hard, Lara. I think you better choose a side now. I can't help you with that. I offered my loyalty to the Gods now." Lilith said and about the leave the room.
"Wait a minute Lady Lilith. I want to tell you that your son is alive." Lara revealed to Lilith that her son is still alive.
"What?! I can't believe it! I saw with my two eyes that Zeo killed him." Lilith said.
"I can bring you to him. He's together with my sons having their training on the Forbes Wasteland. I went back here to persuade Thalos but I need a lot of help from the other Gods. I don't think Hades can help me. You're my only chance Lady Lilith. Please help me." Lara said.
"I will help you as long as you'll lead me to my son." Lilith responded.
"That's a deal, Lady Lilith. Thank you so much!" Lara appreciated Lilith.
Lilith went out of the room and went back to the meeting room. Lara's plan was to persuade Thalos and try to change Thalos mind upon conquering the universe to gain more power but it's not that easy due to Thalos is set to fight the Titans and the Masters of the Titans. She can only use Lunar Way three time as this is a Moon Forbidden Spell so she took her chances to use it for the sake of her big plan for the final time. She helped Death and his allies because of an unknown reason, which she's the only one who knew.
Can she persuade her father, Thalos? Or the war between Gods, Titans, and Mortals will become inevitable?
