Chapter 3
Cole walked down the corridor with lots of things going on in his mind. Lawrence was behaving weirdly towards him today. No slangs, no shoving off, no picking up fights. He was happy but worried as well. "I wonder what type of dirty plan is he up to now..." thinking this he went inside his dorm room and flopped on the soft bed. I hope Alfred doesn't comes back soon. His stamina was almost gone, do he decided to take a nap before dinner.

It was past five when Cole finally woke up, stretching his body and ruffling his hair a bit decided to take a walk before dinner. While walking towards the bell tower, the only place where no one really goes and he can rest in peace, he heard two voices chatting with each other, a guy and a girl.
"I think I like him Gloria! His intense eyes when he sees me in anger whenever I tease him or the way he grits his teeth, it's making me go crazy!" Lawrence tried to speak in low voice as much as he could. "You got a crush on him Lawrence! You should tell him about it!" Gloria said him.
'Lawrence having a crush on someone! Bah who is he kidding with!' Cole thought in his mind. But due to curiosity he stayed there to hear what they are saying.
"Do you think what I did to him he'll like me! That's a straight cut no!" Lawrence hyped up. 'He's gay and has a crush on a guy!?' Cole couldn't make out what the two were chatting about.
"Lawrence you've to tell Cole about 'it'. You should try at least!" Gloria tried to push him into doing. "I can't Gloria he'll never like me...." he ended in a sad note.
"Lawrence has a crush on me!? That's ridiculous! The only things he does to me is to tease me!" Cole was boggled out of his mind. He didn't understood what he was hearing. Someone is having a little crush on him, and that's not someone it's his archenemy, Lawrence Godfrey! He thought it was ridiculous. He walked away faster than he could without making them notice his presence towards the bell tower. He couldn't think straight anymore.
The two notoriety were waiting till Cole was gone from there. After he was gone Lawrence bursted into laughing fit. He could not stop himself. "I feel sorry for myself that I missed that haggard's stupid face and his stunned expression. I just can't get enough of it!" "Yes yes surely! Now let's get out of here or prefects will kill us for sure!" Gloria commanded even though she was on the verge of rolling on the floor laughing!

Emily was searching the hallway for Cole but couldn't find him. She went towards the bell tower. "Cole~Are you here hon? I need your help in a math problem!" She went at the back of the tower and found Cole there sitting with his head flopped on his legs. "Oh my what's the matter Cole!? You were fine an hour ago!" Emily said in a worried tone in her voice. "I'm fine Emily get out of here." Cole said with a bitterness in his voice. "I'm not going anywhere out without you! Come with me immediately and have dinner! Or I'll ask Alfred to drag you down the hallway!" To this Cole let out a chuckle "Fine fine I'm coming.....leave me alone for a second I'll be there on time." "Alright don't skip it!" saying Emily walked away. Cole stood up and rubbed his eyes and tried to make his mind blank. Too much happened today that he can't take half of it in his mind.
Walking down the hallway he was zoning out for what happened today. He suddenly bumped into someone...a familiar touch. He looked up to see Lawrence standing there a few inches away rubbing his shoulders. "C-can't you walk properly Lawson!?" his voice was laced with a strange softness that he never heard before. "I can say the same thing Godfrey!" Cole spat angrily. Lawrence's face was enough to make his anger boil in his stomach pit. "J-just get away from my sight, you piece of shit!" Lawrence brisked away with a hint of pink in his cheeks. 'Seriously was he blushing!?' Thinking it ridiculous he continued towards the dining room.
After finishing his dinner Cole went straight up for the bed. "I'm tired....." he flipped from side to side but couldn't sleep anymore. "Does Lawrence really has a crush on.....me? How and why?" he frowned his eyebrows. "I didn't knew he could have feelings...he was supposed to be stone!" he chortled after saying that. "Kissing Lawrence will be like kissing a log of wood!" He immediately intensified and his cheeks heated up. He was thinking of kissing Lawrence just now!? "I must be too tired from the whole day that's why my brain isn't working... finals are coming I rather study properly..." he sighed but he had another sleepless nights....nightmares never left him since his parents died due to that.
How does it feels to love someone? Do they truly love you? Or is it just an act put up by them to torment you? Does true love really exists? Maybe....but only in fantasies. There's no one whom you can rely on, or someone to share your sadness, happiness or troubles. Love is hazy just like mist. Untouchable and unclear.
