Chapter 2: New Friends

Drix is in sixth grade now, she made some new friends. Their names are Luca, Ski, Arlo, and Max. They're all inseparable, they always tell each other all their secrets, so one-day Drix decides to finally tell them her secret... She told them then said, "That's my only secret, I'm sorry that I don't have as many as you guys do...." Drix was sad, but then her friends said, "Aww, Drix it's okay that you don't have a lot of secrets!!!" "Yours is the coolest secret ever!!!!" They all hugged, then went to class. During class, Skarlet kept trying to distract Drix by insulting her. Drix was way more focused on her classwork to get mad, plus she had a really good morning. Nothing worked in trying to distract Drix, Skarlet tried even harder to be mean to her, but Drix didn't care about Skarlet's attempts, all of her attention was on her work. That's good because her parents expect that much from her. *After school* Drix was talking to her friends on the walk home, they talked about their favorite stories, music, games, and other fun stuff... Then somehow, they got on the topic of Skarlet and how mean she was to everyone. They got to Drix's house to play video games and hang out. Drix knocked at the door, someone said, "Who is it?" Drix then said, "it's Drix!!" "And her friends!!" Her friends added on. Then Drix's brother, Mac opened the door, "Hey Drix!" he responded, "Hi, Mac!" Then she walked to her room and said to her friends, "You guys sit tight, I gotta talk to Mac." They all said, "Okay, just hurry up!!"
