Chapter 1: My first day

The day started out simple like every day does. I wake up and take a shower. I get dressed and brush my fur and my teeth. Then I head downstairs to eat breakfast. This day was slightly different, at first, at least that's what I thought. I felt really tired even after had just woken up from a restful 8 hour slumber. I was having to rush because I had woken up later than usual. Today was my first day of high school. Instead of drying my fur like I should have I just shook most of the water off and put on my clothes and went down stairs and ran out of the door because I didn't have enough time to eat my breakfast. I arrive and there is a group of high schoolers talking outside of the school. I try to make my way through the crowd and I accidentally get my paw stepped on about maybe 7 times. I finally make my way into the school and it was huge. I then start walking to my first class. The only bad thing about this supposedly good day is that I was lost. I didn't know where I was or where my class was. I then come across someone that is in a higher grade than me and looked so cool. She looked amazing and her gruff voice was even better. I've never heard a voice like that. The pitch was amazing and made me shriek with amusement. That was when I met my future best friend Maya...
