Chapter 5: The Man Revealed

Scorpius Malfoy. His immobile body lay, crouched, on the ground, his eyes darting wildly around.

"Well, well, well, look what the cat dragged in." said Albus getting to his feet hurriedly.

"Hey! Do I look like a cat to you?" Quinn said glaring at him. However, Albus couldn't help noticing the smile playing around her lips.

"Of course not." Gasped Albus in mock offense, placing his hand delicately on his heart and flapping his eyelashes wildly.

"Anyway." Added Albus "What do we do with this rat."

"Hmm.." she said approaching Scorpius' immobilized form. She crouched, waved her wand over him, releasing him from the spell. He sat up glaring up at the still standing Albus.

"Next time I'll get you Pottah." He spat with contempt then, with a sudden roar he shouted "PROTAGO!"

A massive forcefield erupted from his wand sending Quinn flying backward, landing in a heap in the distance.

"Quinn!" Albus shouted, bolting over to her limp form.

"Quinn." He said shaking her slightly. "Don't be dead please don't be dead."

Her eyes fluttered open gently, revealing her crystal blue eyes.

"Hey." Said Quinn, smiling lightly. He sighed deeply in relief, pulling Quinn into a firm hug.

"I'm okay. I'm fine." She said patting him awkwardly on the back. "Come on let's go back to the castle."

"Okay, just don't strain yourself." He said as they made their way down the sloping hill.
