"Damn it, stop," Lucia exclaimed.
Artemis was currently trying to force her wolf to emerge within a fit of lust, but she just kept pushing him away.
"Come on Lucia, the king will most definitely leave you alone now so why not celebrate," he whispers in her ear.
He slowly reaches down her night gown, but she grabs his hand and growls.
"Don't touch me," She says through gritted teeth.
She stands up and storms out of the room, leaving Artemis speechless. She walks down the corridors and out the back door to the forest outside. She had to think. Her wolf, Snow, prevented her from killing the king and from the amount of time spent in her room alone, she concluded that she won't betray her birth family. Werewolf now or not, she was given something to help her rid the world of these vermin. She just hoped her fathers' spirit wouldn't forsake her, but instead argue her to use this curse to the advantage of the hunters.
The evening moon was slowly rising in the night sky and she decided to shift and roam the free forest to contemplate more on the situation. She was meant to mate to the king and had the love and affection of the Rogue Prince. She could find a way to play both sides to the point they destroy each other and rid themselves of this world. The more thought put into it, the more the thought pleased her.
As she traveled farther and farther from the house, the forest became heavier and heavier.
Hiding behind a few thick pine trees was another werewolf. Auburn color and looked young. Lucia crept closer to it and began to growl. The wolf's head jolted up, searching for the sound. She lunged out of her hiding spot and sinks her claws into the other wolf's shoulders. It howls in pain and tries to buck her off, but to no avail. Lucia rears up and sinks her sharp teeth into its neck. It was losing blood fast. The wolf falls over and rolls, successfully dislodging Lucia's claws and teeth. Its panting, blood dripping down to the ground. Lucia snarls and swipes for the wolf's face. The action lands and the wolf are knocked over. She approaches the whining mutt and jumps on its neck, snapping it and killing it instantly. She found great joy in the taste of the other wolf's blood. Staring at the limp body, she began to shift back. Her brain distorted the wolf she was staring at to look like the king and then Artemis. Every breathe she took slowly turned into a chuckle, a laugh, and finally end into a full cackle.
Her descent into madness has begun.
