Chapter 37: Pay No Attention To The Girl On The Floor

When Ivy didn't show up on Monday morning, Carson figured that she must have been sick Friday night too and that was why she had to lean on that guy on the way out of the movie theater. It didn't explain why she had been there with him in the first place though.

He had thoroughly enjoyed the movie but once the excitement of rehashing everything with Shaelie afterward wore off he realized he was a lot more unsettled by seeing Ivy on what appeared to be a date than he originally thought.

Why was that? It wasn't like he had a crush on her or anything.

Carson thought of her as an intellectual equal. Ivy had a unique perspective on things. When she talked to him about anything other than school work he always found himself surprised by her insightful analyses. That was why he liked spending time with her.

CREATORS' THOUGHTS

I felt bad using a random photo from Google image search as my cover so I had my super talented sister make one for me! It captures all three of them really well but I especially love my bb Carson for some reason. He's so cute! Also please please please go vote for my contest submission Bloody Rich! If it does well, I might do a mass release here ;)
