Chapter 718: CHALLENGE FOR THE ALPHA

"Tordoff?" Lilac called his name again when his face became clear in the hallway. "You are back."

Tordoff grinned at her. He missed that expression and how she smelled. "I am." He glanced at Warlock. "What are you doing here?"

"I asked the same question too." Lilac crossed her arms in front of her chest.

"Shouldn't you go back to your room, Tordoff?" Warlock squinted his eyes at Tordoff, he didn't like when he was being cornered by this guardian angel and his fellow general. "This is your queen's quarter, it will not look good if we have a male lycan roaming around in this place late at night."

"You shouldn't be here as well," Tordoff responded.

"King's order." Warlock shrugged his shoulders. "I will walk away if you say you are here to replace me." He locked his eyes on to Tordoff's. "But, if not, then please leave."

"What does the King wants by having you guard at the guardian angel's door?" Tordoff was not satisfied with Warlock's answer.
