His thick arms full with several presents and bags, yet it didn't bother him even in the slightest. If anything, he looked more radiant than usual. 

When he was already in the foyer, the door of the house had been opened by someone from inside. 

"I can smell you from miles away." A sarcastic comment rang in Kace's ears, but he only grinned as Serefina stepped aside.

The witch didn't even offer him a helping hand when Kace stumbled inside the house with his presents.
