Chapter 37: Full Bodyshot
Lexi feels energize after given birth. She felt like a big burden was removed from her. She can now go outside. She loves Carl so much. Maybe because his grey eyes reminds her of a person that once she thought of as her future. Her baby is going strong and bigger each day and no one can't deny that he is a small version of her father.
Today is her first day to go and get groceries. She wears her summer dress and pair of sneakers. "Be quick. You need to breastfeed Carl later." Granny Ellie found a new source of joy. She hilds him in her arms and silently coos.
Lexi happily go with her chores, well aware that someone is following her. They will know that she is capable and full of life and they should not be bothering her because she is happy. Indeed she is.
When Carl was born, it is like she can breathe again. She found out that this little human holds her heart and she can't go on and drown in loneliness and self pity now that someone needs her more than anything.
Lexi hums while walking home. She decided to get more clients so that she can start to save for Carl's school. She smiles. What kind of student her son will be like? Is he like her? or like...
She shakes her head. She knows to well that the chapter of her life in the city is a closed book.
The whole boardroom is tense. President Lu is not happy with the outcome of the new movie. "Who decided not to pursue with the alternate version? That version should be out ticket to enter the Europe Market!"
"Eeerr...President Lu....we figured that it is a guaranteed hit maker and the ....revenue of the movie...as you see is more than what we have expected...and.."
Alexander raises his hand to stop him. He glances at his phone. New photos has been sent from the weekly report of the Min Family.
Alexander eyes widened and he is gaping. He is in a state of shock. Mario immediately walks to his side but retreats when he saw what Alexander is looking at. Alexander gives out a warm smile, release a sigh and looks like he is day dreaming.
"We will talk about this tomorrow. Go and get lunch" Sounds like a dream. No one moved yet. Thinking that it might be a test or a joke. But President Lu is waving his hand dismissing them. All of them slowly stands while exchanging puzzled look. Is this heaven? The last time they see a smile on Alexander' face was almost a year ago.
Alexander touches his phone's screen. It is a close up picture of Lexi's face. She looks happy but tired. He can see dark circle around her eyes but her smile also reaches her brown eyes. She is happy. Her hair is a lot shorter now and she has fairer skin.
The next picture is a full body shot. He recognizes the yellow dress and immediately passion and lust pours all over his body. This feeling that only Lexi Min can give him. He misses her so bad.
"Mario, next plan is on place."
