Chapter 16: The Actual Contest
Erika met up with Teresa as usual...
The contest was a breeze in the beginning, but towards the end, Erika had trouble keeping up with the advanced weapon play and magic. Hellfire, sword dance, spear throwing, piercing lance, icy blade storm, wind storm, etc.
Erika threw out plenty of level one fireballs, wind blade, water blade, lightning arks, etc. to counteract these but barely made it into tenth place.
Teresa on the other hand expertly wielded her staff and magic gracefully moving into 4th place.
Erika however was seen as an unpolished gem diamond, while Teresa was only a rare talent.
"Miss Erika," called the 4th elder of the Mythic Sect," we'd love to have you join our sect as a core disciple, will you also be my disciple?"
"May my friend join?" Erika asked in reply.
"Erika!!!" Teresa hissed under her breath," this is an amazing once in a lifetime chance!"
"Of course she can but she will have to start as an outer disciple, we were going to allow her in any way."
Erika looked at Teresa who nodded reassuring her it's the correct choice(not to mention her sparkling eyes)
'She looks like a fangirl!'
"Ok," Erika easily agreed
'Why not get benefits I'll be able to see Teresa anytime anyway'
"If you want, I can take Teresa as my 4 personal disciples after you."
"That sound gre-"
"I agree!" Teresa shouted! Cutting off her friend.
"Ok! Welcome my 3&4 disciples. As you know I'm the 4th elder but I prefer being called Master Azalea."
"This disciple greets Master Azalea." Erika and Teresa day at the same time.
***At home***
"Hooray! We made it in" Teresa shouted hugging Erika.
"Yes, all of our hard work paid off," Erika replied.
"And now we have a month to ourselves!" Erika said smiling.
"Agreed," Teresa said also smiling...
