"So, what do we do now?" Shinichi asked everyone in the room.
"Oh, well we were about to head to Vale. Wanna join us?" Ruby asked. Well, it wouldn't really hurt to join them, right? After all, they are his teammates now. And now is the good chance to know better about them, and also explore new areas. He wasn't gonna take the risk of being a stray dog running around searching for help when help was literally right in front of him.
"Sure. I might also get to know better about all of you." Shinichi smiled.
"All right team! Let's go!" the team leader said enthusiastically, jumping in excitement.
-----TIMESKIP-----
After 25 minutes, they have finally arrived at Vale. And Shinichi had to admit, the bullhead was very convenient and extremely helpful. If he was still the old Shinichi, the one who wears glasses, nerdy and uncontrolled feelings, he would've screamed and get motion sickness. But, once again, thanks to Migi's cells, he is now way stronger and braver than the old Shinichi. 'Speaking of Migi, I actually wish that he will wake up. Because I really miss him and I'm worried about the future battles that I'm going to face.' thought Shinichi.
"Alright, here we are! Vale!" Ruby announced excitedly, making Shinichi chuckled. And one more thing he had to admit. The city was very... Beautiful. The scenery was breath taking. And he could even see all kinds of people. Faunus, Humans. Hunters, Civilians.
'Wow... I'm impressed. Very impressed. Ozpin really wasn't kidding, huh?' the male teen thought.
"Beautiful, isn't it? But ya know what else is beautiful?~~" Yang asked in a flirting manner.
'Oh no. Not again' Shinichi thought.
"This~~" Yang said as she showed her cleavage.
"*sigh*. Yang, I know you love flirting and messing around with people, but please, don't take it too far almost to the point where it could lead to misunderstanding and could potentially mess up someone's mind, or worse, hormones." Shinichi warned Yang, glaring at her. His face unfazed, not even a hint of fluster. Yang just pouted.
"Fine. You're such a party pooper, ya know?" Yang said.
"Of course I know that. If I wasn't a party pooper, I wouldn't have been considered as not.... Nevermind." Shinichi cuts off. He almost repeated something what Mitsuo had told him. It still hurts him till this day, even if he has received his emotions back.
"Wouldn't have been considered as not what?" Yang asked.
"It's nothing. Come on, what are we standing here for? We're supposed to walk around, aren't we?" Shinichi asked all of them.
"Yeah, come on. Let's go." Weiss said. Though everyone was still curious as to what Shinichi was gonna say.
-----TIMESKIP-----
"The Vytal Festival! Oh this is absolutely wonderful!" Weiss exclaimed pretty excitedly. Which every other team members of Team RWBY except for Shinichi found very weird and odd.
"I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much Weiss. It's kinda weirding me out." Ruby said. Shinichi chuckled lightly. Seems like Weiss is the "serious" type of person if Ruby says it like that.
"How can you not smile?!? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances! Parades! A tournament! Oh the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breath taking!" Weiss said excitedly.
"You sure know how to make something exciting sound boring." Yang said.
"Quiet you!" Weiss glared at her.
"Remind me again why we're visiting the docks?" Blake asked.
"Ugh, it smells like fish here." Ruby complained.
"Well, there are other people coming from other Kingdoms. And as a representative of Vale, it is my duty to greet them." Weiss said. Shinichi quickly caught on her plan.
"She just wants to spy on them." Shinichi said.
"You can't prove that!" Weiss exclaimed.
"Woah!" Ruby gasped. Everyone looked at the direction she was staring at. They saw a shop. Broken windows and police tape all over it. They all walked over to it, curious as to what happened.
"What happened here?" Ruby asked the officer who was in front of them.
"Robbery. Second dust shop to be hit this week. This place is turning into a jungle." The officer walked away.
"Ugh, that's terrible." Yang said.
"They left all of the money again!" another officer exclaimed.
"It doesn't make any sense. Who needs that much Dust anyways?"
"I don't know. An army?"
"Hmm... Ya thinking of the uhh.. The White Fang?" this caught Weiss' attention.
"Yeah I don't think we get paid enough."
"Hmph, the White Fang. What an awful bunch of degenerates." Weiss said in disgust while crossing her arms. This statement, unfortunately, didn't set well with Blake.
"What's your problem?" Blake asked while trying to keep her anger in control. Which Shinichi noticed and immediately knew that something's up. Shinichi may not have the powers that Huntsmen and Huntresses has yet, but he can still sense things. Though the only thing he can really sense is emotions and the most useful of all, sensing attack movements.
"My problem? I simply don't care for the criminally insane-"
"The White Fang is hardly a bunch of psychopaths." Blake cuts Weiss off. "They're collection of misguided faunus."
"Misguided?!? They want to wipe off the face of humanity off the planet!" Weiss exclaimed.
"Then they're VERY misguided." Blake crossed her arms. "Either way, it doesn't explain why they would rob a dust shop in the middle of Downtown Vale."
"Hmm... Blake's got a point." Ruby said. Everyone looked at her, while Shinichi continued looking at the shop, searching for little details that the police might have missed.
"Besides, the police never really caught that Torchwick guy that I ran into a few months ago. Maybe it was him." Ruby suggested.
"That still doesn't change the fact that the White Fang are a bunch of scum. Those faunus' only knows how to lie, cheat and steal." Shinichi's eye twitched while Blake glared daggers at Weiss. But she doesn't seem to sense all of this.
"That's not necessarily true." Yang protested.
'Is that gonna cure the virus or add more salt to injury?' Shinichi wondered.
"HEY! STOP THAT FAUNUS!!" they all heard someone shouted. They quickly ran to the place where they heard the shout from. They saw a blonde-haired monkey faunus running away from 2 guards on a ship.
'Oh for god sake. We were literally talking about faunus and THIS has to happen at the same time?' Shinichi thought. And Shinichi also took note of the faunus' speed. He was fast, but not as fast as a parasyte's insane speed.
"Thanks for the ride guys!" the monkey faunus said as he jumped off the ship.
'Well, at least he thanked them.' Shinichi thought while chuckling lightly. It seems like what Ozpin said was true. Faunus aren't evil. They're just like humans. But humans hated them. Which is why the White Fang is now using violence to fight back in order to protect themselves instead of protests. It also makes him saddened the fact that in this world, humans are the ones who started it first. And since he's a living "half human-half parasyte", he is basically a bridge between two worlds and two species that doesn't exist in this world but does in the other, hence the "two worlds". What a day it's gonna be for him...
