Chapter 15: Chapter 15: I've become a Goddess
Drakeel "No, she is dead."
Hurly "Mother? Drakeel what's wrong with you. That isn't our mother."
Cable "Hurly move!"
Naiomi "Watch your tongue child. How dare you not recognize your mother? You should be punished to never recognize a thing again."
Naiomi ripped out Hurly's tongue with a single motion of her hand, in a second she tore out his eyes, in a third she snatched his ears. As Hurly tried to crawl away, Naiomi stomped his head into the ground, crushing it completely. Hurly's headless body stopped twitching, Naiomi swallowed the parts she took from him.
Naiomi "Mother magic: Wind reaper: Wind scythe."
With a flick of her finger Naiomi diced Cable into tiny chunks. Walking over to the buffet of diced meat, Naiomi plucks one off the ground and eats it.
Naiomi "Mother magic: Cloth magic: Blanketed embrace."
Blankets bursted out of naiomi's hand onto Zabul dropping him. Naiomi mounted him and grabbed his face, her drool mixed with the blood of her brethren dripped onto his face. A wicked smile grew on her face as her tongue elongated, seductively licking Zabul's face.
Zabul "Mother please! It's me Zabul! I still remember when you would pet my head and secretly give me flowers from Lucifer's garden."
Naiomi "Zabul, my precious child. That's Queen Lucifer to you. I've told you this already. Disobedient children need to be punished...and mommy is hungry!"
Drakeel "Get off my brother bitch!"
Drakeel roundhouse kicked naiomi, being caught by a red and purple eyed Cole
Drakeel "Dad? What's going on here? Cole was supposed to be some failed demon transformation."
Cole and samael "Son, such a shame. I had such faith you would love your grandfather. Oh well, what did I expect from my bastard children."
Drakeel "Fuck you! You abandoned us with your bitch sister dead beat!"
Cole and Samael "Watch your bastard mouth. Who do you think you are to talk about your aunt in such a way?"
Cole slapped Drakeel across his face, leaving a red hand print. Drakeel quickly recovered and threw a counter punch into Cole's hand. Naiomi getting annoyed stabbed Zabul in his throat, pinning him to the ground with her sword. Drakeel was filled with so much fear he ran as fast as he could being suddenly stopped by a gate.
Cole and Samael "Lilith! Fancy meeting you here hehe. H-how are you my dear? I'm sorry for up and leaving you. I missed you."
Naiomi spit in Cole's face and slapped him. Cole smiled as he wiped off the spit.
Cole and Samael "As feisty as ever."
Naiomi "You abandoned me to raise these disobedient children. Look at them, they don't even recognize their parents."
Cole and Samael "Sorry my love. I will discipline them now."
Naiomi "Hurry up, she didn't give much control."
Cole ran to the demon as he was climbing up the wall to escape. Just as he got his hand to the top he was pulled down to the ground by Cole. The demon did all he could to escape but nothing worked. Cole grabbed him by the collar lifting him in the air.
Cole and Samael "Drakeel my boy, what's wrong with you? You were supposed to tell them of the blessings your grandfather bestows upon your mongrel race."
Drakeel "You are my father! You left me all alone just to find out you were in hell. Not a call or letter, nothing. Did you know what we went through?"
Cole and Samael "Drakeel...Do you know how hell works? You cause your own suffering. The only ones the fire burns are celestials. No matter, you'll find out soon enough anyway."
Drakeel "Fuck you dead beat. You killed all of your grandchildren DESTROYER!"
The loving and sympathetic face cole had vanished instantly. Replaced by wrath and hate.
Drakeel "Look at you, I bet you are going to kill me too."
Cole and Samael "No, I won't destroy you. I will hold a family reunion. Come be with your nieces and nephews."
Cole kissed Drakeel on his forehead as he did, Drake's body dried out turning into nothing more than a husk laying on the ground. Cole dropped Drake's body to the ground to be scattered into ashes by the wind.
Cole and Samael "Well today turned rather dour. Hmm? He's still asleep? Good. Lilith, how are you my love."
Naiomi "Mighty fine, my demon lord. A little sad I must be going. Oh how I miss your embrace."
Cole and Samael "As I yours. Don't worry we will meet again...soon."
Naiomi "I would certainly hope so! Next time Don't leave me waiting so long."
Angillina "No! Lilith please stay."
Naiomi "Hmm? Another one?"
Cole and Samael "No, this one seems to be the one responsible for our disobedient children."
Naiomi "Oh, that is rather unfortunate. Ah oh well such as peaceful times. Samael I trust this girl is safe in your hands? Chiao kiddos!"
Angillina "No don't leave just yet. Master has been searching for you. Please stay for a bit."
Naiomi "Child, I don't have time for your nonsense."
Angillina, with a single quick jab punched Naiomi's forehead causing a green pearlescent seal to wrap around her head, almost in the shape of a broken crown. Naiomi's eyes turned back and forth from blue to red and back to blue. Naiomi's throat went hoarse from all of the screams she let out. As if being a caged bird Naiomi's body flopped to the ground giving up from the stress. Angillina laughed as she yelled into the sky.
Angillina "I, who control all things comandith thee to stay lilith."
Naiomi "SAMMY!"
Cole and Samael "Already on it!"
Cole swung on angillina with the force to kill her, missing by centimeters. The sheer force of the wind breaking all of the glass on the outside of the school. Samael looked at Cole's hand in utter confusion. Samael swung again, missing once more.
Naiomi "Any day now sammy! Naiomi is waking up…"
Cole and Samael "I'm Trying! I can't hit her for some reason. Huh? Oh...great...he's awake now."
Angillina "Yes, Cole wake up. Obey me!"
Samael "Obey you? Why would he when he has me to obey?"
Cole "O..b..e-e..y."
Angillina "Cole, would you like another pill? I see you want another one. It's going to make all your pain go away."
Cole "P-pain."
Samael "Cole, hush...go to sleep kiddo."
Cole "Sleep?"
Samael "Yes, go to sleep. I will wake you up when it's all over."
Angillina "Come here Cole. Think about nothing more than how good it would feel! Total peace, no more pain, suffering, nothing but blissful euphoria."
Cole slowly started walking over to Angillina, his eyes dead, drool dripping from his mouth, samael's crushing presence slowly disappearing. As he approached Angillina, she felt the nothingness the drugs instilled into Cole. Angillina started to chuckle as Cole knelt before her. Angillia took a small dagger out of her pocket, cutting her hand and smearing the blood on Cole's forehead.
Angillina "Yes, almost complete just need one more thing."
Aslalo "Angillina! What's gotten into you?"
Angillina "Nothing. I've been the same the entire time, you know they should have a better vetting process in the school. Anyway this is totally awesome that you're here, I needed you to finish the ritual."
Aslalo "What ritual? What do you have planned?"
Angillina "Me? I have nothing planned but being famous! You have no idea how hard it is to get a million followers."
Aslalo "Followers? You are responsible for the death of three people and the total disruption of the school for followers?"
Angillina "Oh Aslalo, you idiot. My goals are much bigger than some followers on a page. I want followers ready to die for me. Come on, you're telling me there is nothing you desire you'd do anything for? Something no one knows about? Something that matters to you more than anything else in the world?"
Aslalo "Nothing that would make me kill someone."
Angillina "Of course you'd say that. You wouldn't understand the plights of a celebrity such as myself."
Aslalo "No, no...I understand your plights. I just don't care about your vanity."
Angillina "Whatever… so are you going to attack me or what?"
Aslalo "I thought about it but it seems like Cole has it under check."
Cole burst up delivering a critical headbutt to Angillina. As Angillina fell back, Naiomi kicked her into Cole's fist, knocking her into the ground. Appearing shocked by Cole and Naiomi fighting back, Angillina started to crawl away on her belly being stopped by Aslalo walking in front of her path and shocking her but instead of frying her Angillina started to laugh.
Angillina "Hehehe It's all complete. Master are you watching? I want my reward, I did as you said!"
Demonic voices "The spell quickly before it's too late!"
Angillina "Mother and father bound, the hands of god stand proud, a trinity of power lays on the ground, now hear me and release that which is vile and evil. Break the chains that hold us back. Demon magic: Parental awakening!"
Dark clouds started forming over the school, thunder and lightning split the air as the sky cried blood. As the bloody rain fell from the sky the demon students came out in droves to meet their queen in Angillina.
Angillina "You are all here now, I have the eye of lilith, samael, the demon king and the power of god! I am now a goddess! Slaves hold the trash down, I wish to take all that which belongs to me."
The gang of demons held Cole, Naiomi, and aslalo down. Waiting for the signal to tear them apart but instead they got no such thing. Instead they suddenly released Cole and Naiomi. Cole's left eye bleeds as it shifts into a deep rich red.
Angillina "What are you doing? I am your goddess, hold them down!"
The demon students stood still as the blood rain got heavier and heavier. The sky blackened as the demons fell to their knees before Cole.
Samael "Demons are pretty strict about who they listen to."
Cole "Grrrrah rip and tear!"
Angillina "I COMMAND YOU ALL TO HOLD THEM DOWN!"
Samael "See what you caused? He's fully awake now. Ya know what? I did all I could, he's your problem now."
Angillina "I don't have time for this! I need to finish the ritual fast. Whew Angillina think, you totally got this. All you need to do now is…"
Angillina looked at Cole ready to finish the ritual when he suddenly appeared in her face, launching into a fierce flurry of punches. Angillina barely had any time to react to attacks being sent her way. As they fought the rain grew into a heavy downpour. The sky screamed for a victor, it's power striking and charring the ground around where the two fought.
Angillina "Cole, listen you are getting in my way and I would like, be appreciative if you just bowed down."
Cole "Cole bows to no one!"
Angillina "Thoughts of evil things, impure and unrefined, foolish and demonic, sleep dreaming of endless torment. Demonic narcolepsy! What? Did it not work?"
Cole charged onwards to Angillina ready to hit her as he fell to the ground asleep.
Angillina "Okay, i still have time. All that's left is to take his blood and drink it."
Angillina stabbed Cole with a syringe that had strange symbols carved into it to extract his blood. As she pulled the plunger back a thick black liquid filled the vial. Just as Angillina was about to down the liquid Lilith interjected.
Lilith "Hey girl, I don't quite know who you are but it's not a good idea to drink that."
Angillina "says the one stuck in the body of a teen. I saw what you people really are! I want what you have! I want to be known and recognized by millions. I want my family to have prestige too."
Lilith "Yes girl, I understand. If anyone in this world understands I do. That is not how you achieve your dreams. Trust me you don't mess with God's children. I learned the hard way."
Angillina "Shut up miss my family owns everything. What would you know what it's like to finally crawl your way out of mediocrity just to be told you barely made the cut. How about working day in and day out to be strong and failing to win? Imagine how embarrassing it is for your power to be called the will of god and yet you cannot enact your own will. So stay shut."
Lilith "I relate to you. I was the first woman, created by god himself. Imagine how i felt when I was told i was below a man? Not just any man, a man that paid me no attention. One that wouldn't even touch me. One that saw me as a pile of meat for his desires. To be cast aside into nothing. Have you ever had your first time? You barely experienced this world. You don't need fame or fortune. I assure you, if you'd wait you'll receive everything you'd like. Don't drink it, break your contract, and go to therapy for your addiction. You'll save yourself from even greater pain."
Angillina "I have no clue what you are going on about Naiomi. I didn't make a contract nor am I addicted, I can stop whenever I want to. Anyway time to be a goddess."
Angillina smiled as she drank the entire vial. Within seconds power flowed into her body, the rain stopped as if frozen in time and swirled around Angillinas body, the clouds forming into a silver crown. The ground shook in fear of angillina's greatness. A wave of her hand brought forth a golden chalice of sickness and wickedness.
Angillina "I did it! Now bow before me!"
Demon students "ALL HAIL THE GODDESS OF SIN!"
Angillina "The goddess of sin? I am a goddess!? I've done it! See naiomi, nothing will happen."
Lilith "Sure for now, I tried to save you but as you wish. You want that power then have it."
Naiomi "Huh? Where am I? How did I get here!? Cole!"
Angillina "As you can see according to our rules, I beat the student council president in a fair fight, witnessed by everyone, I am now your goddess, all students from now on shall obey me."
Cole tried to stand but fell back to the dirt below him. Although Cole could still fight, he didn't want to. As if by a blessing he has lost all his future burdens.
Angillina "You two, get the trash out of here."
The students gathered Naiomi, Cole, and Aslalo taking them somewhere out of view of Angillina.
In an abandoned part of the school, far from the influence of Angillina, the two tossed down the three.
Aslalo "You won't get away with this. I'm going to send an alert to my…"
Jasmine "Shut up will you?"
Cole "Jasmine!? How you been?"
Jasmine "Cole! I see you're getting better. You can even control your demonic side better."
Cole "Yea, I've been training every day. You know…"
Aslalo "Excuse me! Is anyone going to fill us in?"
Cole "Well you see...um…"
Naiomi "Cole didn't want to be student council president, so he tried to declare war on the school however that went to shit as everyone said it is what it is. So he most likely made a plan to lose his position while also not losing the benefits of winning."
Aslalo "Basically you want to have your cake and to eat it too."
Cole "Basically! However, I didn't know what angillina was doing. I kinda thought...hmmm I don't know what i thought she would do? I just know I didn't want to be president and she did so I stopped fighting."
Aslalo "You lazy commoner trash! I had believed maybe I fell into hubris but you don't think at all!"
Jasmine "Shush, Cole and I have been talking in secret through letters. He actually thought this through a bit."
Cole "Yea Asslalo hear me out. So, I don't want respect or love just because I'm strong. I want to earn it."
Aslalo "You have earned it by winning!"
Cole "Have I won though? Seriously think about it. Against Justin I would've lost if I were normal. Against Johnathan I would've lost had it not been for my demonic form. Even you would've beaten me without samael stepping in. So tell me what battle did I win? All the students saw was power. All the teachers saw was a pay raise and what the fighters saw was a monster. An immeasurable amount of power, uncontrolled, untamable, inside of a demon let loose among the school. Aslalo, you live in a fantasy if you think i would've just been okay without me going crazy or something."
Aslalo "We would have squashed them. Power is what controls people…"
Cole "They obey so long as you're strong. Yea yea, but you saw the demons. They would not stop until they are dead. Not to mention two attacks onto the school back to back not stopped by the student council. They will never forget that so i think it's time to start anew."
Aslalo "Start anew? How do you plan on doing that?"
Cole "I am going away to train, roughly about a year or two."
Aslalo "A YEAR OR TWO?!?!?! IDIOT WE HAVE A DEMON GODDESS RUNNING THE SCHOOL!"
Naiomi "Calm down, I'm going to use my time magic to speed up time for him. It would be in your time a month or two."
Aslalo "I can't be the only one thinking sensibly. Jasmine, tell them they are crazy."
Jasmine "It's not sensible but what choice do we have? According to the rules, Angillina is the goddess of the school, Cole does have untamed power lashing out, and the school doesn't respect him...they fear him."
Aslalo "Naiomi, keeping a time barrier up for two months straight would put you in a coma. Not to mention Cole who do you plan to train with? If Jasmine stays undercover and Naiomi is focusing on the barrier then who are you training with?"
Cole "Well, I thought of that...but it was kinda iffy, I wasn't sure if the people i wanted to train with me would."
Aslalo "So you didn't think things through?"
Cole "No, I did. Just wasn't sure what the answer would be. Aslalo, I'm coming to you man to man. Not even, I'm coming to you as a friend."
Aslalo "No. No. Nonono NO!"
Cole "Aslalo, train with me. Please, aslalo it will be fun!��
Aslalo "I don't care about petty entertainment. We have a crisis on our hands."
Cole "I don't know how to explain it...but sneak attack!"
Aslalo "What?"
Jasmine whacked aslalo on the back of the head making him pass out instantly.
Jasmine "Well Cole, what now? Part one and two are finished. What do you have planned."
Cole "Well, I think it's about time dad and I got some bonding time in. We are going to pay him a visit!"
Naiomi "You don't mean…"
Jasmine "Cole, No that's idiotic."
Cole "Don't have much of a choice. I have a greater plan. He hasn't done much else. To the capital! We are going to find my dad!"
Samael "Yes, have a few questions as well."
After tying up Aslalo, Cole put him on his shoulders and the four of them set off to the capital as fast as they could. Sneaking past the students looking for them, dodging every trap leading out of the school's back door. Bursting into a bright new beginning on a road of his making. I wonder, how often he thinks of things so boldly. A unique type of hubris filled Cole. One that is completely self centered, but also humble. He knew what he deserved and was ready to risk it all for his goals.
