Chapter 2: Chapter-2 Magic swordsman Ruth
On the tenth day of the month of light, year 512 the fifth madam of the Harkenberg household gave birth to a son. He was born with an astonishing amount of magic power and all the churches of goddess Ephilia were bathed with a white color giving an auspicious sign.
The young marquee was named Ruth Harkenberg. The king personally visited to congratulate the marquee couple and even betrothed the fourth princess to the marquee.

Ruth despite being famous and highly sorted by the opposite sex made a vow to marry the princess and the priestess after successfully defeating the demon lord.
Their party left the capital with great vigour, defeated many powerful demons along the way until successfully infiltrating the demon lord castle.
The demon lord castle stood tall and majestic but under the barrage of attacks from the hero party it soon crumble down. Demon lord Shukulas was seated on his throne was clapping seeing the destruction of his own castle.
"Nicely done, I don't expect you to reach here so soon".
Saying that demon lord Shukulas stoop up and took out a great sword.
"Here I come".
And the battle began.
It was the hardest battle Ruth ever fought. He fought until his hands became numb and his stamina which is on par with the previous generation hero was depleted.
He and his party suffered many injuries while fighting the demon lord. The priest and the warrior were out cold not known whether dead or alive while the thief had her arm missing. The magician was as pale as a piece of paper.
Supporting himself with a sword he stared at his enemy demon lord Shukulas who was nearing his end. Blood continues to flow from his mouth and all his internal organs were destroyed but he was still laughing.
"Good you are truly a hero, I was destined to be defeated by you, but I shall fight the destiny, no matter how many times you defeats me, the demon lord is never to defeated, today only Shukulas has dies not the demon lord. Hahahah".
Saying that he slumped to the ground and no longer moved.
I was pondering what he meant by that when my body suddenly shook.
Behind me appeared the priestess Rita, her arm extended holding the sword straight through my heart. I was shocked. Blood gushed out from my throat. I was weakened due to my fight with the demon lord otherwise such wounds are not life threaten.
