First Impressions

Madam Pearl saw everything and out of curiosity she went to Rin Chan's side then asked.

"Who sent this to you?"

"I.. I don't know.."

"Wow Jade you have an anonymous suitor.. How romantic."

"I.. I can't accept it."

She suddenly exclaimed. Everyone inside the tea shop gasped.

They can't believe Rin Chan would decline such a romantic gift.

Jade have a reputation of being an ice queen. Some of the female patrons envy her.

Tony was just sitting at the corner leisurely sipping his tea.

"How come your not accepting it sister Jade, your suitor clearly like you. Do you know how much this cost?"

Emi butted in. She's a young girl who also works part time at the shop. She's a working student who studies at a nearby university.

"I.. I can't accept it, cause I don't know who gave them. What if there's poison or bomb in it?"

"..."

Rin Chan said. After what happened at her date last time she started to get paranoid. She put her guard up and wouldn't just let anyone near her.

Tony choked on his tea when he heard her. He wiped his face and suddenly stood up.

"Don't worry its from me. Just accept it."

He suddenly exclaimed. The customers look at him and they felt even more envious towards Rin Chan.

They can't believe Tony, someone who looks like a "money tree" would take a liking to a lowly waitress.

Rin Chan shot daggers at Tony. She walked towards him and whispered.

"What the fuck are you doing.."

"I told you to get ready cause I'll be showing my sincerity to you right..."

"What?!!"

"Oh, so you're the one who gave our Jade all this gifts. May I know your name?"

"..."

Madam Pearl exclaimed, she stood between Tony and Rin Chan and scrutinized Tony.

Suddenly, the whole atmosphere turns like a scene from a drama.

Where the mother met her daughter's suitor for the first time.

Everyone at the shop watch the show and can't wait for the next scene.

Tony smiled at madam Pearl and he handed her his business card.

She take a glimpse in it then smiled at Rin Chan.

"Jade, he seems like a good man, why don't you accept his gifts..."

Madam Pearl said. The truth is she doesn't care what job does Tony have, she just doesn't want Rin Chan to turn him down.

She could tell that Rin Chan knows him, and she really like their chemistry.

She notice that Rin Chan's eyes glimmer when she's near Tony. It was the second time that she had seen it.
