Chapter 7: :The World Before 1

The story was a compilation of the things that had happened. The professor wrote on the white board with his chest puffed. His smile apparent as he talks about the history of the Kingdom of Elena and the continents.

Before the world became what it was today. It was a world of fire and ashes. At the beginning, men fought with swords and axes. Cities didn't have any proper sewage system. The people had not heard of hygiene, and they crowd the cities. Feces of men, animals, and the corpses of those died starving could be found are strewn across roads. Serfs live in cruckhouses that offered no shelter for the cold winds that comes in winter.

Famine was regular, the roads were unsafe, as they are riddled with bandits and cutthroats that stole and kill, they live on mountains, rather than live among the canned cities of old. Farms had no yields and Noble lords feasted too much, while disregarding the lives of their people. Monsters were regular and only a few brave men were able to fight them, they cost too much for Lord's pockets that it was better for a serf settlement to die rather than pay for protection.

Cannibalistic tribes formed among the plains, and those who craved power would regularly demand city states for tribute. Demon Kings would rise from the northern continents. They would slaughter the continent and spread plague among continent. Heroes would rise and fall as they kept fighting for a savage world.

Tribes gathered power in hopes to survive. Legions were formed in hopes that the monsters would be quelled. Young men are forced to rise up and protect their homes. Millions die against demons that towered over them. Monsters band and made farms of humans.

Bandit Warlords ruled over fertile land. Selling women as breeding sows and slaves for degenerate men to lord over. Power-lusting magicians captures innocents and turn Kingdoms into a land where the dead lives and feast on human lives.

Rulers of the nights who made use of their extraordinary abilities to rule in the shadows. Men and women are treated as blood barrels they could open up to consume.

The light held hope stronger than anyone. Religion was the one people turned to at their time of need. Crusading Knights fought monsters and shed their blood, simply, because it was the right thing to do. Hateful religions rose as well. They brought fanaticism and witch hunts — that ended in the death of millions that did not follow.

Slowly, humans became driven enough to build bonds. They contacted those who suffered the same fate and built an Axis Alliance between, humans, dwarfs, and Elves.

Three Races banded together and made use of their wits to defeat those who looked down upon them. The first Lord Protector, Leon of Heart-Light, and his betrothed, Ashia Star-Mane, waged war against the traitors of humanity. They purged the Cannibalistic tribes and bended the knee of the Raider Tribes and turned them into Iron Legions that fought monsters that enslaved humans. Their disgust over the farms led to the creation of hunting factions.

Crusader's Beacon and the founding of the Patio Knights led to the slaughter of human farms and the purge of human breeding farms. The slavers were forced to abandon their slaves and met their death at the hands of the Amen-light Brotherhood that freed the slaves and made them join in their efforts of destroying the enemies of the Axis of Mankind.

When the Rulers of the Nights heard of the Axis of Mankind. They sent spies and saboteurs that led to infighting over leadership and led to the two-year war over the farming state of Trent-Falls. Only through the leadership of the Aged Lord Protector that the spies were driven and was led to ruin. The Axis of Mankind vowed the defeat of the Lord of the Nights and waged a hundred-year old war that led to deaths. The path paved was littered with blood and iron. Men lived like animals and fought like savages in hope to survive the calamity brought for by external factors

The lost of a Lord Protector and the infighting led the Axis of Mankind to suffer in an Age of Darkness riddled with plagues and cruelty. Only when the Fanatical Baron of Crust-Shire that the Crusader's Beacon, the Patio Knights, The Amen-Light Brotherhood stroke the fire of fury. To combat evil they choose to fight with the help of the runes and the use of magics that was thought of as evil.

With the magics the Axis of Mankind held Nations together like linked chains. The Baron of Crust-Shire led a Crusade that took down the last of the Human Farms and made his way towards the Nations of Demons, where they died at the hands of the Hill-Devil Lords and was left to rot in their rocky hills. More years came and it took a singular Hero, as if he was given by God, to turn the fates of the Axis of Mankind to that of Glory. The Golden of Axis, the Harbinger of Light, the Ushered Lord Protector of the Yore, the Hailed Knight, and the Decapitator of the Hill-Devil Lords, that humanity was able to Flourish and enter an Age of Enlightenment, and the Invention of Fire-giver, the Sword That Flashes, the creation of Artillery and the Guns, the advantage that allowed the Axis of Mankind to turn the foes of Mankind to shudder at the thought of the Army that flashes fire.

It was the start of a Holy War that led Humanity into annihilation of the devils of the West, the purging of the Tumor of the East, and allowed Humanity to reach the Dead Kingdom of the North, wipe the dead, and reach the borders where humanity drove the dead back for years and created great walls with the help of the developing technology of the Axis of Mankind and their Rune-Tech.

The Reign of Augusto Dune-Fort led to Triumph of the Axis of Mankind towards the enemy that wanted them dead.
