Chapter 4: Him Again
Lunox's Point Of View
It has been days since I gave Little One to that Knight and here I am again near the river.
I made the right decision, didn't I?
Well I don't even have a clue about his owner so I guess it's okay. He looked responsible even though he's a little scary.
After a few minutes of getting lost in my thoughts, I decided to take a walk around.
I love this place.
It's so peaceful.
This place is actually the place I kept on dreaming about. In my dreams I was a little girl and was playing with a woman with blonde hair, but I don't even know her.
How I wish to know her.
I heaved out a sigh.
I've been having a lot of trouble with my dreams lately, it feels so real and....
weird
One night I'll be dreaming about peace and harmony then the next night I'll be dreaming about death, war, and chaos, which I fear.
Sometimes I don't want to sleep but I just find myself doing it.
Aside from war, death and chaos I also fear the thought and dreams of being lost and unable to move. The kind of dreams that feels like a maze, a never ending maze where I can't reach the end of roads and hallways or the kind of dreams where I'm stuck in a small place. It feels like there's nothing I can do to save myself and whoever becomes involve in my dreams.
While walking I got lost in my thoughts again and didn't feel the presence of something lurking around in the shadows.
~•3rd Person's Point Of View•~
While Lunox was walking around, lost in her own thoughts she didn't notice a beastly creature lurking around the shadows. In a blink of an eye the beast already grabbed Lunox and was ready to devour her.
This beast's body was black while its eyes are red. It has big sharp fangs and its tail looks like from a devil's.
Out of shock, a scream came out of Lunox.She was about to force her way out of the beast's tight grip and defend herself but a familiar sword came flying out of nowhere. It was a direct hit on its head.
"Are you okay?" Asked the man who turned out to be the knight from the other day, Leomord.
~•Leomord's Point Of View•~
Heading home from the outskirts of the village I heard a scream from the riverside so I rushed there and found a beast holding a familiar girl.
I'm almost near but I'm afraid I won't make it. I thought of throwing my sword towards the beast and so I did. My sword pierced the side of the beast head and died.
"It's you again" she said "Thank you for saving me but I can defend myself"
"A simple thank you would be enough but you're welcome miss Lunox" I replied while getting off from Barbiel and trying my best to avoid her eyes
"What brings you by the riverside Knight? "
"I have a name and it's Leomord. What brought me here is a task from the King."
I walked towards the lifeless beast and pulled out my sword from its head.
"And what would that be Leomord? "
I couldn't help myself and looked at her eyes again.
"The task? Well, I guess you should know about it and what's going on inside the kingdom since you're a fine maiden."
