Chapter 9: Chapter 8: If I could tell her.
"He thought you were awesome"
Tristan said, pulling the princess out of the sun, to a small café.
"really? my best friend thought I was awesome?"
She doubted.
"Well...Yeah?"
Tristan looked at her features, studying every corner
"How?"
She questioned.
"He said...there's nothing like your smile, so suttle and perfect and real. He said, you never really knew how wonderful that smile could make someone feel. and he knew whenever you get bored, you'd scribble on the sides of your tables, and he...noticed that you still fill out those quizzes that I put in those...teen magazines"
Tristan gigled, as he recalled everything that was beautiful about her.
"But he kept it all...inside his head, when he saw you left, upset. And though he wanted to, he couldn't talk to you. He couldn't find a way."
Tristan said, before letting her arm go.
As Li walked away to find John Laurens and Alexander, Tristan felt his heart ache.
"If I could tell her, If I could tell her everything I see, If I could tell her how she's everything to me. but we're a million worlds apart...and I don't how I would even start...If I could tell her, If I could tell her..."
Tristan walked away from the shade of the Cafe and stepped back in the sun.
"What do you mean Thomas never said those things? What do you mean it was Tristan to keep me happy?"
Li looked at John Laurens.
"Do you actually think that pill will actually bring Thomas back to life?"
Alexander looked at Li...
"What else did he say about me?"
Li asked, as both boys went lost in thought.
"Uh....What Tristan said about you?"
John looked at his friend who was so eager to know.
"Never mind, it's fine, I don't--"
Li got cut off by Alexander.
"Nono, there were just so many things he said about you, just trying to recall the best ones."
Alexander said.
" He thought, you looked really pretty- er, it looked really pretty when you placed those blue streaks in your hair."
Alexander laughed.
" And he...wondered how you learened to dance like the rest of the world was in there."
John picked up an apple as he continued.
"But he kept it all, so near his chest, but he thought his love was unsaid."
Alexander said as they koved into a different topic
"If I could tell her..."
Tristan was about to place his Thomas Costume on.
"Tell her everything I see, If I could tell her, how's she's everything to me."
Tristan cried as he tried to do the finishing touches.
"But we're a million worlds apart."
He sighed as he wiped away the tears.
"We're not a million worlds apart"
Li walked into her room, thinking nobody would be in there.
"And I don't know how I would even start."
Li looked at the man who was singing in her room.
"Alexander's being silly, see, thomas is in here!"
But that's when she realized it.
"Thomas, Tristan"
She walked towards him, and wiped off the make up that was on his face.
"You don't have to do this to make me happy"
She kissed his nose.
"Stay by my side for a while, please?"
She hugged him tight.
"I will."
He giggled.
