Chapter 8: Chapter 7: Thomas?
As Li sat in the garden, she remembered Thomas, and how much she loved him.
Then it hit her, she fell inlove with Miles because he reminded her of Thomas. Same attitude, same type of charisma.
"You don't love me, now do you?"
Miles started to doubt her, she looked up at him.
"why would you doubt that?"
"uh, well, you know, your father told me, you fell inlove with someone...and miss him dearly."
Miles sighed, looking at his wife.
"you don't have to doubt that.."
before she finished her whole sentence a hand was placed on her shoulder, making her jump.
"Miles...don't-"
she looked up, it brough her to tears.
"Thomas!"
she teared up, looking at the ghostly figure.
~Flashback~
Li broke apart, hearing her partner in crime died, no longer touchable...no longer useful, unless they can be revived.
As she sat there, crying.
"Thomas....Thomas....You magenta freaking heart stealer, you left me alone! I hate you, I hate you....I hate...you"
She chocked on her tears, as she saw an arm around her neck.
"What the-"
she turned to her left, she saw a magenta suited man, hair down.
"Lafa, if you're trying to make me smile, it isn't happening"
Li sighed.
"Mon Ami, who are you talking to?"
Lafayette asked as he arrived with Madison...
"wha-"
she looked back to her left.
"Thomas!"
Li really can't figure it out, but he was touching her, it didn't make one bit of sense, let's be honest.
"Li, I won't be able to see you as often as before, but I'll see you when I can...I love you"
Thomas said, before turning into dust.
Li burst into tears once more..
"Thomas"
she whispered before getting up and running to James.
"Hey, it's okay, he'll always be in our hearts, Mon Ami...I know he is"
Lafayette said, patting her back.
"Hey, it's alright, oceans rise, empires fall... he's in better hands now"
James sighed.
"He'll always remind us of his love"
James tilted her head up.
~End of Flashback~
"Hey, Love, it's been a while hasn't it?"
Thomas sat beside her, making her place her head on his shoulder.
she can touch him, he can hold her.
"How is this possible?"
Li asked, confused.
"Well.."
Thomas trailed off, taking out a pill.
"This will keep me here, for aslong as I want."
Thomas smiled.
"Will you find another love?"
Li started tearing up, Thomas' heart always shattered when it came to her tears.
"Never, I'll stay by your side, forever."
Thomas kissed her forehead.
"Thomas?"
Franziska went out, shocked.
"She's falling inlove all over again"
Manfred giggled.
"So...does that mean..I get to keep Miles?"
Franziska asked her father.
"well, if..."
Manfred looked at Miles.
"If it makes both of you happy"
Miles giggled, carrying Franziska.
"What's the ruckus about, Mon Ami?"
Lafayette seemed sleepy, he's just gotten back from the capital.
"Gilbert!"
Thomas stood up and ran towards one of his best friends.
"Tommy!"
Lafayette hugged him.
"How do you look the same?"
Li giggled, standing up aswell.
"Why are you so noisy?!"
Madison has seemed to have just arrived aswell from the capital.
"Jemmy!"
Thomas ran into his other best friend, who wasn't Juliana 'Li' Mei von Karma.
"I knew it!"
James smiled, hugging Thomas.
"But, Li's question is quite good actually, Why do you and Gilbert look the same?"
James asked, releasing from Thomas' tight grip on him.
"I blame Daveed."
both sighed as they looked at the actor who was talking with Lin.
"Hey! don't blame meeee!!"
Daveed shouted.
"Blame him!"
Daveed pointed at Lin who widened up his eyes, but didn't say a thing.
"Hey, Look what I found!"
Franziska knocked on her sister's door.
"Yeah? what is it?"
Li looked up from her book.
"Well...It's an album!"
Franziska opened the door.
"Oh God, why?"
Li sighed as she took the album and closed the door.
"Eh?"
She looked confused.
"The ThomLi ship book?"
Thomas looked up from the papers he was writting.
"What's that?"
He asked giggling.
"Alexander!"
She groaned.
"AuGh....this is..."
Li fell on her bed, it made Thomas laugh.
"I bet John was in on too.."
Li sighed, getting up, She was in her corset, so she can visit the Town square.
"Where are you going?"
Thomas asked, His magenta suit flashing in Li's eyes.
"To Town Square?"
Li looked at Thomas.
"I'm gonna go to Margarita to see if she has any knowledge on this"
All this rambling made Thomas chuckle even more as Li shut the door softly so it doesn't startleThomas.
"Here comes the Princess!"
Some females shouted.
"Rise up!"
Some of Manfred's men who escorted her to the square.
"What?"
Some other citizens questioned since they had no clue on what was going on.
"Good Afternoon."
Li curtseyed.
"My Lady, Good Afternoon, how was your day?"
a familliar voice ran through her ears as he kissed her hand.
"Tris!"
She smiled.
"So how was your day?"
Tristan smiled at her.
"Thomas is back..."
Li's smile was wider than the horizon of the sun.
"Wha-"
Tristan's smile faded
"Oh yeah! I remember when he had a crush on you, I remember everybit of everything he talked about."
Tristan tried to keep a smile.
"Really?"
Li's eyes were smiling aswell.
