Chapter 5: Father and Son
3rd Person's POV
Red gritted his teethed, preparing himself for the pain that he was expecting. But after waiting there for a minute, he feels nothing.
'System, I'm ready. Go do your thing.' Red hurriedly to the system still prepared for the pain.
[Ding! Fusion of One For All is already done!]
'What? Why didn't you notify me earlier? And why didn't I feel anything?' Asked Red with slightly irritated voice.
[Ding! Fusion of One For All is Successful]
'Hey! System, answer me!'
[Ding! Did host gain a new fetish after experiencing the pain earlier?]
Red got dumbfounded at the system's answer.
'No! I did not! And you too out there who is reading, it not what think it is. I'm not like that!' Red denied strongly.
While Red is using his Unique skill 4th wall break. Someone knock on his door.
*Knock Knock
Red then look at his door then asked.
"Who is it?"
"It is Keith, young master." Answered of the voice outside.
"Keith, who?" Red asked jokingly.
"Keith the butler, young master" Keith said, who is thinking that something wrong his young master
'How can he forget me? Did young master knock his head?' He thought worryingly.
Red gets dumbfounded by the answer of Keith. 'Why this guy is so serious?'
"Yes, I know it's you. So why are you here? Need something?" He said to Keith.
"Yes, Master Raiden wants me to fetch you. He asked you to go outside at the back of the mansion. He said he wants to teach how to fight using sword" Said Keith gently to Red.
The Red gets off on his bed and walk to the door. When he was about to open the door, he suddenly stop.
'It's look like I forget something important' He thought, looking back at his room. Then he look at his bed, at closet, table and then to Little Black, who is following him like a dog.
'Yeah, now I remember! How I'm going to explain about Little Black to my parent!' He panicked a little thinking that his father or his grandpa slays his new companion.
'I need to think, Little Black cost me 60000 system points and I still don't know when I can gain it back!' He thought, and then he asked the system for help.
[Ding! Host can buy the Soul Contract Manual (2500)]
"Keith, tell father to wait for me! I have something to do!" Said Red to the door.
"But young master—"
"No buts, just tell father" Red cut Keith hurriedly.
"Yes, young master" Keith answer calmly.
Then Red bought the manual and read it. After 15 minutes of reading, he tried to form a soul contract to Little Black, who agreed to it quickly.
After forming the contract, Little Black transform to a beam of light then enter the body of Red. Red feels his body get stronger a little. This is the effect of the soul contract. Where the user can use the power of his contracted beast.
'This manual should worth more than 2500' thought Red, but feel elated inside.
[Ding! Host Learned Soul Bond Skill]
'Another skill again? What is the use of the skill'?
[Ding! Soul Bond can let the Host use the power of his contracted beast. Soul Contract use to form contract to the beast and use slightly of their power at maximum it can only allow use to use only half of their full power. Soul Bond on the other hand can let host use the full power of the contracted beast, it can even allow the host to use their physical body like fusing the scale of Little Black temporarily.]
'What a broken skill. So how many of Little Black strength that I can use?' Red inquired.
[Ding! Soul Bond (LvL 1) can only use 10% of the contracted beast]
[Ding! Host should be careful of the use of Soul Bond. If host contracted a much stronger beast than you, even if you only wield 10% of their strength, your body may break]
'Now it's a double edge sword! Even the handle is so sharp that I need to hold it carefully!'
Red got shocked of the effect of the skill, thinking that he should get stronger fast so that he can avoid a tragic accident of dying because of his weakness.
'Master, I'm hungry. Do you have fresh fish?'
While Red is getting ready to go at the back of the mansion, he heard a tiny voice inside his head.
'Little Black? Is that you?' Red got shock and asked carefully the voice inside his head.
'Yes master!' Answer of the tiny voice his head.
Then Red thought carefully 'The Soul Contract didn't have this effect. So it should be the Soul Bond skill.'
'Little Black, wait for a while, I'll feed you a lot of fish later.' Said Red to Little Black
'Thank you Master!' Little Black said.
[Ding! Soul Bond (LvL1) gained 5.3% Proficiency]
[Ding! Getting closer or using the strength of the contracted beast can let you gain Proficiency for the skill]
After hearing the system, Red only nodded then goes straight at the back of the mansion. There he saw his father standing straight while holding sword in his right hand which is in front of his middle chest. His eyes are closed, looking solemnly.
Red feels pressured by the aura emitted by his father. Feeling someone looking at him, Raiden open his eyes and saw Red standing at side and looking at him seriously. Waving at him to come near him, then he said.
"Little Red, come here. You said you want to train right. Your father going to teach you how to use sword"
Red then walked near his father and asked.
"Father, what did you just do? Just looking at you makes heart beats faster that telling me to run."
"I'm training my sword will. Which can emit pressure to the enemy to lower they will to fight, gaining me and advantage over them" Raiden answered truthfully.
"Can you do it again in front of me?" Red asked, planning to use his sharingan and learn how to do it.
"Sure! Just make sure you don't cry or soil yourself. Your mother is going to beat me if that happen. This is one of technique that I'm going to teach you! So watch carefully!" Raiden said.
Then he proceeds in his stance. Red who is 4 meter away from his father activated his sharingan. He watches his father carefully trying to comprehend what he will do and how will he do it.
Raiden pull his right foot a little, and then raised both his hands at his shoulder height. Pulling his right hand which is holding sword and his left hand curl a little bit inwardly just right in front of his chest. Looking straight at eyes of Red, this turned crimson and got him little shock, but relaxed his breathing again. Clearing his mind of unnecessary thought, he inhaled deeply. At the time he exhaled the muscle on his feet, legs, abs, shoulder and arm tighten then he thrust his sword straight to Red's direction!
Red who is watching his father action when only getting ready to thrust already feels the pressured, he only saw his father, the sky, the ground or whatever is it around him became dark. He felt helpless that he can't move, and then he saw his father looking at his eyes got distracted for a second then became serious again.
When his father inhaled he feel the pressure got more stronger that making him kneel, but something inside him getting excited, his heart beating faster not wanting run but screaming at him to fight. In his mind he wants but his body wills him to fight.
When he saw his father move and thrust straight at his direction, his body suddenly moved on its own. His muscle tighten, stepping his foot forward, his butt, abs, upper back, chest, shoulder and arm muscles tighten. His right hand, from fingers to his elbow suddenly got covered by black scales, pulling it backwards some crimson veins like appear on it.
Then with his roar he punch straight, ready to face the incoming sword which is threatining to take his life.
"RAAAAAAAGHHH!"
