Chapter 2: Prank - Chapter 2
I was walking fast until this tan and black cafe was in sight. I also saw two people outside the cafe.
Before I could reach the door, all eyes were on me.
"Why a-are yo-u guy-s outside?" I asked nervously.
"We just wanted to stay outside in the warm sun, right boss?" Yuri said sarcastically.
"*sigh* Just open the door." Hyunwoo said tiredly.
"Oh right." I start looking for the keys,"It's somewhere here..." I said while struggling to find the keys.
Hyunwoo sighed and facepalm, "Don't tell me you lost it..."
"Umm...well....I-" I got interrupted by Yuri's loud laughter.
"HAHA! DID YOU GUYS FORGET? IT'S APRIL FOOLS DAY!!!" Yuri said while laughing her heart out.
Hyunwoo and I looked at Yuri then looked at each other but then both of you decided to put your glance back at Yuri, who is still laughing.
"WHAAT!?"Hyunwoo and I asked in Union.
"It's actually my turn to open the door..." Yuri said while showing you guys the key.
"YURI!!!!!" I shouted. I was about to chase her but Hyunwoo held my wrist to stop me from chasing Yuri, had a different plan in mind. I looked at him. He had the most mischievous smirk I have ever seen.
But then I realized what he was thinking. I started smirking too.
Yuri came back and glanced at us while smirking at her.
"Look you guys it was just a joke. I mean you should've seen your faces, IT WAS-" Yuri was explaining while trying not to laugh. Before she could finish her sentence, Hyunwoo interrupted by saying calmly," Just open the door..."
"Fine..." Yuri mumbled.
After she opened the door, we went in and started to work.
There aren't a lot of costumers in the morning most of them come on afternoon.
My job is the cashier, so that means I get to interact with more people, yay. If you guys can't tell I was being sarcastic. I'm not an introvert, I just don't feel like being energetic and enthusiastic in the morning. 10 minutes passed, when a guy in casual clothes came through the door. He came here very often.
"Hi, how may I help you?" I asked with the most enthusiastic voice I could do.
"Ummm, I would like to get two hot lattés, please." He said happily.
"Name?" I asked.
"Ohh, you still can't remember me? I go here everyday." He said disappointedly.
You looked at his face more carefully,"Oh, you're eye smile guy." I said embarrassedly.
"Yup. Wait don't put eye smile guy, put my name in it." He said with a grin.
"Umm, Jamout, right?" I said jokingly.
He started pouting,"Do you really not remember my name?"
I giggled, "I was joking, two hot lattés for Jimin, coming right up!"
"Ok, good. I'll sit over there." He said as he sat down on a chair.
"Next."
After serving everyone, I took a break.
"Rough day?" He asked with his eye smile.
"Yea....I guess." I said with a small smile,"Where's your friend?"
"What?" he asked confusedly.
"Oh, I just assumed that you were with someone cause you ordered two drin-" I
got interrupted by a sudden shout. "Jimin-ssi!"
"Oh, he's here. I better get goin-" as I was
standing up, Jimin held my wrist and whispered," Stay." I slowly nodded.
"But what if Hyunwoo gets mad at me?" I whispered to Jimin.
"It's fine. Besides, there's no other costumer in line, right?" He said while smiling.
"I guess." I mumbled.
"Jungkook! Over here!" Jimin shouted.
Jungkook? That sounds a bit familiar-
"Hey, sorry I'm late." He said while panting.
"It's fine. It's not like I waited here for 30 minutes." Jimin said while rolling his eyes.
"Yea, yea." Jungkook said.
"Jimin, I really got to go. There are people coming in." I whispered to Jimin.
Jimin sighs, "Fine, but come back when you're done, okay?" Jimin replied.
"No promises..." I said while I smile cheekily.
"YAH!" Jimin shouted but I was already at the counter by the time he reacted.
