Chapter 1: greetings
Salty Water. It's always the first to greet me, followed by the sharp pains in my chest as I try to
get some air. It wasn't always like this, I wasn't always lost in this water. I don't really remember
how it happened either. There used to be times where I would fall in and not be able to get out
for weeks at a time. But, I always managed to get out somehow. But now, there's no rope,
theres no helicopter and there's no one to notice me. I know they hear me, but. They simply
pretend not to and continue to feast and laugh while occasionally pointing and laughing. They
shout things like "Look at her! Doesn't she know how to get out? If she really wanted out, she
would be out!" and "Life isn't fair. Get used to it and stop being such a wuss".
