Chapter 5: Perfect Practice Makes Perfect

Yejoon bonded with his parents for a few more minutes and returned to his quarters. Not a second later he yelled with all of his might.

"I DID IT!"

His enthusiasm reached the birds who soon started chirping in response. Although he lived in an apartment, his flat did not reach very high altitudes. The penthouses were located in the bottom of the tower with their own garage, pool, and backyard.

He softly summoned his status

He looked at the AP and SP points as if they were treasures and excitedly used the AP on Charisma turning it into 17. He felt his features change very slightly to fit this world's beauty standards, not only that, his persuasion and conversation with his parents had improved his speech by one point. Not bad.

He realized it might be better if he saved his attribute points and used them when the situation presented itself. Yejoon saved his SP and decided he would use them when he learned the learning growth for each skill and would accordingly distribute the points in the ones he thought would be useful.

He checked the clock situated on the top of his door.

11:23 AM

He still had a lot of time left for the day. Yejoon decided he would wait until he digested the food and would reasonably practice his singing and dancing skills as his parents might take some time to find the perfect singing and dance academy for him.

He realized how lucky he was: Eating the handsome boy's soul and taking over his body, the System helping and having it's assistance, having such reasonable parents that would not decide everything for him. He suddenly felt emotional and once again decided he would do his best to rise and become the most famous celebrity.

01:15 PM

Time quickly flew by and he was already doing his stretches.

Stretching was essential before practicing as it would lower the risks of injuring himself and would allow for more flexibility and ease in movements.

He finished his warm up by doing simple dance moves and noticed the quick, responsive, and clean moves his body made. Already integrated into his body, he quickly improved using the boy's inner talent for dancing. Yejoon could not believe the ease of it. Talent and hard work were truly important. People could be talented but the ones who did not grow complacent and injected hours into their passion brought them to the top of their field's expertise.

He shuffled. He moved his arms. He pushed his legs. He swayed his ankles. He shot his knees to different directions. Yejoon enjoyed dancing. He relished the thrill and feeling of freedom he had while he moved his body. He loved how the body could create fluid, artistic motions. He loved the complexity and difficulty of moving things in a certain way with unnatural actions. He loved dancing, his passion for it was never-ending. He kept improving and becoming better and abruptly dropped to the floor panting and sweaty. The strength and endurance of this kid were, although not abysmal, pretty bad for a future idol. This was not the past owner of the body's fault as he was still developing but reaching the top would have him dancing and singing for hours in concerts. He could not stop now until he reached the point of unharmful exhaustion.

His movements were fluid and done artistically beautifully. The term 'Practice Makes Perfect' might fit this current scene but it should be 'Perfect Practice Makes Perfect.' Practicing things perfectly without error would ensure he did not make mistakes in performances or in front of the public.

[*DING*]

[Congratulations Host! You finished a dancing session and have gained +5 Skill: Dancing throughout the session.]

[Your talent for dancing has allowed for extra skill points to be added.]

[+2 Dancing]

He suddenly felt as if he could use his energy more effectively for dancing. Not only that, but it seems he also can learn moves better and with more ease. The process of this truly was effective. He did not doubt the world would know of him in time.

'System, would it be possible to get the skills while I am dancing instead of upon finishing sessions?'

[Yes Host, it would be possible for that to happen but you would have to complete another quest for the feature to activate.]

Yejoon nodded mentally and waited for the quest to appear in his mind.

[*DING*]

[A quest has been given to the host!

Clean your room!

Organize clothes: Unfinished

Do your bed: Unfinished

Clean your desk: Unfinished

Sweep the room: Unfinished

Rewards: Feature of obtaining skill points through the process.

He felt this was worth it as gaining the points individually instead of stacked might avoid headaches or interrogations in the future.

He quickly cleaned his room efficiently and effectively. The ding and rewards came soon after.

He decided he would stop dancing for now and move on to the body. It would be more effective if he improved his fitness first and then transfer to dancing. He wiped his sweaty body with a small towel and decided to take a break to rest his sore muscles and joints.

He requested his status.

It seems his choreography skills also improved as he gained new ideas that could be used in future choreographies. Choreography was truly different from dancing as one was theoretical and mental while the other was more kinetic and of performing the actions in choreography in a way that fit the song. Choreography involved creativity and the ability to make the movements fit with the flow of the song perfectly. It was not something anyone could just easily do. However, with this body's better-connected neurons and the system he could already imagine the beautiful innovative choreographies he would make in the future.

He drank from his cup of water and moved on to complete his exercise by doing a routine of pushups, crunches, squats, and jumping jacks. All of these workouts were very useful to the body and easy to do. They required no complex moves nor any tools or instruments; using the body's own body weight proved to be useful and innocuous.

He finished and noticed he did not again a single point of strength but that was reasonable because if he had gained strength in such a short amount of time he'd have the strength of a fully grown adult man in no time which would be ridiculously absurd. Although he did notice the soreness fading away quicker than normal and his muscles healing quicker than the norm. This would be very advantageous for him as muscles and strength are gained through the ripping and healing of muscles with protein. If his muscles healed that quickly he would gain endurance and strength in a very short time.

4:23 PM

His dancing, workout, and cleaning of his room lasted a total of three hours. Impressive for a scrawny kid like him.

It was Sunday and he would attend school tomorrow. A rising feeling of despair rose from his stomach as he would have to attend school again, but with kids younger than him.

Yejoon wanted to cry but no tears came out. He thought the idea of doing that was horrid; however, he had already promised his parents he would do well in school and would not go against their wishes.
