"Anyways, what do you think of my outfit?", Aria asked as she twirled in the kitchen in front of her brother Jin.
"No words can describe how beautiful you look", he smiled softly at his sister. Aria stopped twirling and raised her eyebrows at her brother, it was very rare for Jin to compliment her. He made it clear since day 1, that he was the better looking one.
"You think so?", she inspected her humble outfit.
"But numbers can, 3/10", he patted her head with a smug smile.
"I hate you!", Aria screamed at her brother who was clutching his stomach while laughing.
"You should've seen your face", he wiped a tear away as his laughter subsided.
"Did you hear that?", she asked as she looked around.
"What do you mean?", he raised an eyebrow, looking around.
"It's okay, you'll smell it soon", she smirked before walking away with a smug smile on her face.
The house was silent for a couple of seconds before she heard her brother screech in horror.
"Kim Aria! How dare you fart in this sacred house, you are disgusting!", he screamed at her while she threw her head back laughing.
"What the hell did you eat?", Jin came out of the kitchen with a scowl on his face.
"Beans", she answered with a wiggle of her eyebrows.
"I'm pretty sure Jungkook would find that attractive", he snickered.
Aria's eyes widened in realization; she completely forgot her date with Jungkook.
A loud honk made her snap her head to the door.
Jin walked to the door and smirked when he saw the visitor.
"It's lover boy", Jin muffled a laugh at his panicking sister.
"Shit", she whispered as she ran her hand through her caramel hair.
"Go talk to him, I'll be there in a minute", she jogged to her room. She decided to change her outfit as she was afraid that the smell of her fart would linger on her clothes.
Aria opted for a white shirt which she tucked into her grey sweatpants and a fluffy peach coloured cardigan was thrown over her shoulders.
She walked out of the house and rolled her eyes when she heard the laughter of her brother.
"I bet he told him another one of his hilarious dad jokes", she mumbled as walked to them. After she bid her brother goodbye, Aria and Jungkook hit the road.
Aria and her boyfriend Jungkook were driving to his cabin that was two hours away from the city.
Aria leaned her head out of the window, her hair twirled with the wind. How she loved the way the
autumn wind ran through her long hair, the way it caressed her cheeks leaving behind a soft crimson colour.
She closed her eyes as she took in the sounds around her, the wind, the sound of the leaves
twirling in the wind and the soft humming of her boyfriend. Aria breathed in the crisp air that tingled
her nostril as she felt her body relax. Oh, how much she loved the countryside, far away from the
exhaust fumes and into the arms of nature. This moment couldn't get better, everything was perfect
for her.
She opened and closed her grey eyes a couple of times, struggling to stay awake as the breeze caressed her to sleep.
"It's okay, sleep. I'll wake you up when we arrive", Jungkook's soft voice assured her. Aria nodded softly as she welcomed the warm blackness of sleep. Jungkook smiled as he heard the soft snores of his girlfriend fill the car.
After driving for another hour with a sleeping Aria, Jungkook parked the car in front of his cabin. The cabin was made out of wood and it stood in on a valley surrounded by trees.
He turned around to face Aria. He stared at her as her chest rose and fell matching the sound of her soft snores. Her hair covered half of her face and her pink lips were formed in a pout.
"Hey, baby we're here", he whispered while stretching his hand to remove the fallen strands off her face.
"Five more minutes Jin", she whispered as she turned her back to Jungkook. A chuckle escaped his mouth as he looked at her with nothing but love in his eyes.
"It's me, Jungkook. Come on, we're here", he repeated as he softly shook her body awake.
"Jungkook?", she opened her eyes to meet his. A yawn left her plump lips as she rubbed the remainders of sleep from her eyes.
As soon as they got out of the car, Jungkook walked up to her. "There is only one rule to follow here which is to enjoy each other's company without our phones. Give me your phone", she gave him her phone and he put them in the car drawer.
Then they started preparing the food. Two hours later both of them sat on the bench next to the cabin and gazed at the sunset.
"The sunset is beautiful, it bizarrely comforts me", Aria whispered as she admired the fireball dip into the horizon, filling the previously blue sky with orange and red hues. Instead of admiring the sunset like Aria, Jungkook was admiring the girl sitting in front of him.
The way her lips smiled, but her eyes spoke of unknown pain. Her caramel hair that cascaded down her back in soft waves. With his head resting on his hand he reached out to pat her head. Aria turned to him and shot him a smile and god was he smitten.
"For me, you are more beautiful than the sunset we're seeing. You're so beautiful it takes my breath away whenever I glance at you. But my attraction to you isn't just because you're beautiful, it's the way your nose scrunches up when you laugh or how your smile lights up my entire universe, sucking all the darkness in me or how you have dimples that only appear when you frown. It's unbelievable how one kiss makes my legs turn to jelly", Aria's eyes softened after Jungkook's little speech.
"What's with the sweet talk?", Aria mumbled as she looked down at her hands, her soft waves hiding her flushed cheeks.
Jungkook cupped her pink cheeks, their eyes meet and Aria got lost in his earthy hues. The ones that twinkled with love and respect for her. Before she knew it, she felt his breath tingling her nose as he leaned in. Aria smiled in anticipation as she closed her eyes. Their lips were about to meet, but a loud screech interrupted them. It was Aria.
"Something bit me", Aria's hands held her ankle in pain. Jungkook internally groaned, he was so close. His eyes snapped to Aria's ankle when another groan left her lips. It looked like a spider bite. What the hell was a spider doing here?
"Wait, here I'll get the first aid kit", he dashed inside the cabin and took out a red box. He jogged back to her and treated her wound.
"Let's go inside, you can rest on the bed", he offered, after dressing her wound.
"No, I want to go home. Take me home please", she whimpered, not able to hide her pain.
Jungkook sighed, he was so excited about their outing, but a stupid spider had to ruin everything for him.
"Fine, I'll go get my car keys", he walked back to the cabin. Jungkook sulked as started looking for his keys.
A smirk found its way on his lips as an idea popped in his mind.
"You're not going anywhere dear Aria, not on my watch."
Jungkook walked around the cabin a couple of times, then he sat down on the couch and stared at his nails. A few minuted passed and he walked out to where Aria was.
"I can't find my car keys", he lied as he rubbed his neck. Of course, Jungkook didn't lose the keys of his beloved car. He pretended that he lost his keys so that he could spend more time with his girlfriend. Since both of them are very busy people, it was hard for them to spend two hours together before one of them was called back to work.
"What do you mean you can't find them? You just had it a while ago", her eyes widened in disbelief.
"I know, but I can't find them now", he faked a sigh, hoping that she'd get fooled by his desperate lie.
"You're acting weird", she narrowed her eyes at him. Jungkook cleared his throat, avoiding her eyes as he ran his fingers through his chestnut hair.
"Then carry me to bed", she stretched her arms out like a child, waiting for him to carry her. Jungkook giggled as he carried her to the room inside. He laid her on the bed and covered her with a fluffy blanket, then sat next to her.
"Are you sure you're okay? We can call an ambulance and it will take us to the nearest hospital", he offered, secretly hoping that she'd decline his offer.
"No, it's fine. The pain killer you gave me is making me sleepy, so I'd rather sleep here and go back tomorrow morning", she said and he nodded as he laid down next to her.
"What are you doing?", Aria raised her eyebrow at her boyfriend who snuggled under the covers next to her.
"Sleeping, duh?"
"Very funny", she faked a smile, "Get out darling, I'm using this bed by myself."
"What? Do you mean you want me to sleep on the hard coach outside? By myself?". Jungkook asked in disbelief.
"Exactly", she shooed him away with a smile.
"You're heartless", he huffed and walked out of the room. Aria rolled her eyes and chuckled at her childish boyfriend.
Aria woke up the next morning to the sounds of the chirping birds outside her window. The curtains adding a pink glow to the sunlight. Aria rubbed her eyes a satisfied sigh escaped her lips.
Aria's eyes widened as she felt an arm snake around her waist, pulling her backwards.
She turned around to see a sleeping Jungkook in her bed.
"What the hell! Jungkook!", she slapped his arm.
"W-What happened?", he mumbled as he nuzzled his face in her neck. Aria panicked, she loved him, but she wasn't ready for this kind of skinship, so she did what her brother taught her to do in such situations. Punch him in the face.
Aria pulled her hand back and punched his face. The impact of the hit sent Jungkook flying out of the bed.
"What the hell?", Jungkook yelled as he rubbed his nose in pain.
"Ask yourself, what the hell were you doing in my bed?", Aria crossed her arms with a frown.
"Oh shit, sorry. I totally forgot that you were sleeping here. After going to the toilet, I automatically went to my bed, in which you were sleeping", he answered, his ears turning pink in embarrassment.
"Really?", she raised an eyebrow, not believing him.
"I promise!", he held his pinky out. Aria nodded, not completely convinced since she knew the sly tricks that Jungkook would use just to touch her, but she let it slide.
Both of them walked out of the room and Aria offered to make some coffee before they hit the road.
As she walked to the kitchen, she stumbled over Jungkook's jacket. She grabbed the jacket to hang it on the chair when something metallic fell out of its pocket. Aria couldn't believe what she saw. It was Jungkook's car keys.
"This bitch", she hissed as her body fumed in anger. She finished making the coffee and walked out of the cabin before taking a deep breath to calm herself.
Jungkook was sitting on the bench looking at the sky when she walked up to him.
"Your coffee", she sang with a smile.
"Ain't I just a lucky guy. Staring the day with you is like a dream come true", he smiled at her.
"It's not a dream baby, it's a reality", Aria put the mug on the table and pecked his cheeks. Jungkook was surprised it wasn't usual of Aria to initiate skinship, but it wasn't like he was complaining.
A huge grin found its way to his face and he sipped on his coffee.
"Wait, where are you going?", he held her wrist as she tried to walk away.
"I want to take pictures of our surroundings", she answered before walking to his car. He just nodded and continued sipping his coffee.
Aria unlocked his car and sat in the driver's seat, the car engine roaring to life.
"Shit", he hissed as he saw Aria get in the car, this means that his lie has been
"Aria? Wai-", Jungkook yelled as he rushed to his car, but she ignored him and drove down the drive away.
"Hey! Wait!", Jungkook called as he rushed to block her way. Jungkook panted as he stood in front of the car, his hands leaning on the hood of the car.
"Get out of the way, or else I won't hesitate to run you over", Aria growled as she leaned out of the window.
"What happened?", Jungkook didn't understand what was going on. One minute she kisses him and the next she wants to hit him with the car.
"I said move!", she yelled.
"Let's talk it out okay?", he begged her with desperation in his eyes.
"There's nothing to talk about after what you've done. Move!", she exploded, her eyes full of rage. With every excuse that came out of his mouth, she felt herself get angrier.
"Can you tell why you look like you want to kill me?", he questioned. Her blood boiled in anger at his oblivious state.
"I hate you!", Aria screamed at him.
"But I love you", he grinned at her, not taking her anger seriously.
"You're a liar and a fraud", she glared at him.
"I'd like to remind you that this is my car so...", he smirked as he crossed his arms over his chest.
Aria sent him a glare and sighed angrily before stepping out of his car.
"Here, take your stupid car", she slammed the door harshly making Jungkook wince at the force she used, before storming away. Jungkook sighed and ran to his angry girlfriend.
"Wait, baby. Please, listen to me", Jungkook pleaded as he held her by her wrist.
"I don't want to listen to your pathetic excuses", Aria glared at him angrily. Her body unwillingly melting under his touch. She hated how one touch made her melt instantly. Aria was supposed to be angry but her body wasn't helping her.
"Can you tell me what I did, to make you this angry?", he said as his eyes searched hers.
"You told me that you lost your keys and if I hadn't stumbled over your jacket, I would've been the idiot that believed you", her voice was fuming in anger and her eyes were filled with disappointment and hurt. She didn't know why she was this angry over a little thing, but it infuriated her to know that he dared to lie to her. She also knew that it wasn't a big deal, but she was afraid that this would be the beginning of never-ending lies.
Jungkook's lips twitched as he bit back a smile. Aria was cute, but an angry Aria was the most adorable thing his eyes have ever witnessed. The way her small figure was fuming in anger, her body so small she had to strain her neck to look into his eyes.
Jungkook cleared his throat as he looked at her with serious eyes. "Why do you think I did that?", he asked, before continuing "I did all of this to spend as much time with you as possible. Do you know how happy I was that you were the first thing I saw as soon as I woke up? How my heart fluttered with happiness as we spent the morning together?"
"Don't you dare sweet-talk yourself out of this", she warned, not the slightest bit impressed by it.
"I'm serious, I really wanted time to stop just so we can spend more time together, Yes, I lied and I'm deeply sorry about that. But I did it because I needed to spend every single minute with you to survive the next week", Jungkook confessed. His hands that were holding her arms firmly moved to her cheek, caressing it softly. Aria's brain told her to just slap it away, but her body relaxed in his touch as his warm fingers drew circles on her cheeks. Damn her body that couldn't resist him.
Aria sighed, he won her over again. She ran her fingers through her hair as she bit her lip, contemplating if she should forgive him or not.
"Fine", she whispered, "but don't do it again, I'd rather you tell me the truth than coaxing it with a lie, understood?"
"I'd never", Jungkook nodded almost immediately as he wrapped his arms around Aria.
"I love you", he whispered.
"I love you too", she answered as she leaned her head on his chest.
