Chapter 5: The Mystery Man
Mishika is living the best days of her life with her new friends.
As she has never been into a relationship before she is open to that now but she is a bit scared for that also.
*----Day Time -----*
Mishika has attended her Chemistry Lecture after a month and even her classmates were shocked to see her in the class.
After an embarrassing lecture she leaves for canteen to meet her squad. She can't wait to meet them because she is getting addicted to their company.
Mishika enters the canteen and look for her girls. They are sitting at the end of the room with food on the table.
"Heyy Mish!! Finally you have shown your face today." Sarah said while getting up from her seat.
"Yeah today was pretty hectic." Mishika sighs loudly.
But her tiredness get vanished when she see the food on the table.
"Ahh!! Fruit of hardwork." Mishika says with full mouth.
She is feeling calm and happy now. Sarah and Sakshi wants to have a stroll to digest all the junk.
All four girls comes out of the canteen and start wandering in the college suddenly Sakshi stop walking and keep looking straight.
"Wohh what's up with you? Have you seen a ghost?" Zeeva ask in a funny tone.
"No! not a ghost but the hottie that I saw few days back while I was waiting for you girls." Sakshi says with hearts popping in her eyes.
"Is it the mysterious guy?" Sarah ask with excitement.
Mishika is totally unaware of what they are talking about.
"Will someone please tell me who the hell is this myster man now?" Mishika intervene with confusion.
"Mish it's the hot guy from your course. He is senior and girls are crazy about him." Zeeva answers in a sweet tone.
"Okay now I am going to faint, Zeeva is saying this in such sweet voice." Mishika says sarcastically.
Zeeva is usually the bodyguard of all three girls and she never paid any interest in any of the college boys.
Zeeva is laughing on Mishika's response. "You should look at him by yourself girl." Zeeva raise her eyebrow.
"Nah I am cool like this." Mishika replies casually.
Even though Mishika took a quick peek to that mysterious guy. He is not looking at them now and his back was on her side.
"No worries if I can't look at the face. Who cares?" Mishika whisper to herself.
NEXT DAY ----*
Mishika is late for the college as she woke up late this morning.
"You go ahead girls, I am going to be late today." Mishika inform Sakshi on call.
Mishika reached the college an hour late than usual. She dial Sakshi's number to ask them where they are.
"Hey Sleeping Beauty!!" Sakshi says while laughing.
"Hello mother I am in college where the hell are you?" Mishika replies smiling.
Sakshi ask her to come on the first floor. Mishika runs through stairs to meet them. But to her wonder, all three of them are not talking anymore they are looking down and laughing.
"What's going on in your evil mind girls?" Mishika ask with raised eyebrow.
The moment Sakshi look at Mishika she gives her an evil smile and shout, "Mish look there."
Mishika look down into the direction where Sakshi is pointing.
Zeeva throw a paper ball in the same direction and the moment Mishika look down, Sarah, Sakshi and Zeeva step back.
Mishika is stunned by what happened. She doesn't move an inch.
"Oh no it's the mysterious hottie!" Mishika eyes goes wide in horror.
The Mystery Man look up at Mishika but Mishika is so shocked that she can't move.
All three girls are laughing behind.
"Haha! Finally you saw him Mish." All three girls laughs.
Mishika regain her composure and step back reflexively.
"Oh no no no! I am gonna kill you with my bare hands." Mishika yelled.
The three girls starts running around the college laughing out loud. Mishika is running behind them trying to catch at least one of them.
For her this is all very new and she is not used to of doing these things.
Sakshi and others stop running to take some breath. Mishika is also gasping for air. Mishika starts laughing nervously while others join her laughing like crazy.
"So, how was he?" Sarah ask naughtily.
"Who? I don't know who you are talking about." Mishika replies casually.
"C'mon Mish don't pretend now. You were staring at him like you are going to pounce from the first floor." Zeeva says with an evil laugh.
"Oh you are talking about that mystery man!" Mishika says trying to be naive.
"YESS!!" All three of them replies in chorus.
"Yeah he was okay. I didn't looked at him properly you know." Mishika answers in a detached tone.
Zeeva and other sighs loudly. They want to set her up so that she will experience her first love but Mishika always tries to dodge the situations.
But this time even though Mishika was able to dodge the situation with her friends but in her mind that scene was on the autoplay mode.
AT NIGHT -----*
Mishika is trying to sleep but the scene happend today at college with that mystery man is keep coming back to her mind.
"Ughh! Why I am thinking about this?" Mishika sighs in frustration.
She put on her headphones and play some music to take off her mind.
But no matter what she do, that face is not going out of her mind.
Tall height, beautiful green eyes, square shaped face with light beard. Smile which can melt anyone.
It's imprinted on her mind and eyes. Finally after lots of efforts and turning and tossing here and there. Mishika finally fall asleep.
NEXT DAY-----*
It's the election day in the college and Mishika and her squad is damn excited because it's going to be the first election in front of them.
While Mishika is still sleeping, Sakshi and Zeeva come to her house and start jumping on her bed to wake her up.
"Wake up Mish!!!!!!" They both yell in chorus.
"Ahhhh!!" Mishika wakes up in panic.
"What the hell is wrong with you girls??" Mishika ask angrily.
"Have you forgotten? It's election day at the college and we are already late because of you." Sakshi replies in the same tone.
"Oh no! Shit shit shit! I wasn't able to sleep last night and I totally forgot about it." Mishika apologise.
Mishika gets out of the bed and it was the first time ever that she is ready with bath and everything in just 25minutes.
"Who are you? A robot?" Zeeva ask in shock.
"Yeah I am when I want to be." Mishika replies proudly.
The three of them run to the college. It is crowded today because of elections. Sarah is waiting for them with Megha inside the college.
"Is this so hard to come to college on time?" Sarah yells on the phone.
"It's Mish who is late not us!!" Zeeva and Sakshi answers while looking at Mishika.
Sarah ask her friend to let Sakshi and others enter in the college easily.
Finally after the successful entry they run to the room where they are supposed to meet Sarah.
Sarah is standing in the line to vote and she has maintained some space for Mishika and others.
"You are a lifesaver Sarah!" Three of them sighs and hug her.
Now the squad is in the line waiting for their turn to vote when someone comes up and start checking the ID cards of students.
"Oh my god it's the mystery man yayy!!" Zeeva literally shout.
Mishika and Sakshi put their hands on Zeeva's mouth.
"How hard it is to keep your voice down you dumb." Sakshi says.
"I just got too excited to see him." Zeeva replies in a naughty tone.
The mystery man was wearing an ID card on which his name was written. His name was still unknown to this squad and this was the chance to know it.
Sarah was next in line to vote so she left. Now Zeeva and Sakshi took the initiative to finally open the mystery of this name.
They are literally staring and peeking on his ID card without being discreet.
"Girls you are not being discreet at all." Mishika whispers to them.
But they are too caught up in their act that they are not listening to Mishika.
"Sakshi I saw his last name. It's buyers." Zeeva says with proud.
"What will we do with his last name idiot?" Sakshi replies disappointed.
Sakshi pretend to fall forward because of crowd while Mishika is full of embarrassment right now.
While controlling Sakshi, Mishika and the mysterious man look at each other.
Mishika's heart is racing with a speed of miles.
Sakshi yells, "It's Max it's Maxx!! I saw it."
Both sisters are laughing like crazy and they look at Mishika with accomplished look.
But Mishika is stunned with what she felt.
The electric shock she felt with only an eye contact. It never happened to her before. Sakshi and Zeeva are looking at her confused.
Max the mystery man moved away after that. Zeeva and Sakshi don't know what happened with Mishika.
But this eye contact is going to change Mishika's life forever.
