Chapter 33: Chapter 31
After talking a bit more Sona excused herself and Dante turned to Rias,
Dante: "By the way Rias where is Asia?"
Rias: "Oh the nun. She is at home cleaning, she said she doesn't have any interest in going to school for the time being, probably still recovering from becoming a devil." She said nonchalantly.
Dante, Akeno, Kiba, and Koneko all shook their heads in disappointment and let out an exhausted sigh.
Rias: "What?"
Dante: "I give you a powerful sacred gear user that has borderline god-level healing abilities and what do you do? You turn her into a house maid. When her Twilight Healing reaches balance breaker it could possibly put Phoenix tears to shame. You truly are a big-breasted idiot that is a true disappointment to the Gremory Family. No wonder Millicas is the next chosen heir."
Rias: "What!? What do you mean Millicas is the next heir?"
Dante: "Sigh* Due to your rebellious and idiotic behavior your family and the elders decided that Millicas was the more suitable heir. Since he was 3, he has been practicing magic and martial arts with his hands, feet, and different weapons. On top of this he has been diligently studying to make sure he is a capable adult unlike his aunt. I am truly impressed he not only does all of this but also makes time for his hobbies like chess and hanging out with his parents. If you look at the competition it is a clear choice."
Rias was shocked, her family had removed her eligibility for clan heir and didn't even tell her, on top of this they also planned to give it to her nephew.
Rias: "How do you know so much about the other factions when you yourself are neutral?"
Dante: "I'm a mercenary. How can I know about jobs if I don't know about my employers. Believe it or not I actually had a request to present your mentally broken body to Riser before he even arrived so that you would be a flesh toy for him to enjoy, the pay was quite nice but I decided against it because I honestly didn't care about your little engagement even after I intervened."
Rias felt her spine grow cold because even if she was arrogant, she knew that if Dante had agreed with her request then she would have currently been in Risers bed as a lifeless flesh-doll for him to simply indulge in and create babies for him.
Dante: "Well then Akeno I believe it is time to go, do you plan to go back to Rias' place or go to mine?"
Akeno: "I'll go back to your house, but before that can we stop by Rias' so I can grab the rest of my stuff."
Dante: "Oh, do you plan on permanently moving in?"
Akeno gave a nod and Rias' mood crumbled even further knowing that there was no one in her peerage that was truly loyal to her anymore.
Shortly after Dante and Akeno left Kiba and Koneko followed after because that didn't have any reason to stay.
When Dante and Akeno pulled up he followed her inside they found Asia sitting on the couch in the living room reading a bible even though they could see the beads of sweat forming on her brow from the obvious pain she was feeling due to her being a devil.
Dante: "Hello Asia, how have you been?"
Asia jumped because she didn't hear them come inside.
Asia: "Ah, Hello there Dante-san. I didn't hear you come inside. What brings you here?"
Dante: "Akeno is moving into my place and wanted to get her things."
Asia turned depress knowing that her only friend here was leaving, but just as quickly returned to her normal smile. A notion not missed by Dante.
Dante: "Asia, are you happy as a devil?"
Asia was surprised by his question and didn't respond at first before shaking her head no.
Asia: "I tried to be happy knowing that there is some one that wants me but after a while Rias-sempai stopped paying attention to me and would only give me orders. I want to be strong, but I honestly don't know what to do."
Dante gave a sigh. He thought Asia could be happy with Rias, but he realized that he was mistaken.
Dante: "Asia, do you want to stop being a devil? If you do, then it's fine. Rias won't say anything if I am the one to do it."
Asia was shocked because she didn't realize that Dante could revert her back to a human.
Asia: "Un. I don't want to be a devil anymore."
Dante gave a nod and gestured for her to follow him to the kitchen. When they arrived, Dante moved everything off of the table and told Asia to lay on it face down. She complied because even though they had only known each other for a short amount of time she completely trusted Dante.
Not saying anything Dante cast a small spell to put Asia to sleep as he pulled out Yamato.
Dante: "Yamato, if I do this will there be any backlash to Asia or will it only remover her evil piece?"
Yamato: "It will only remover her piece as she didn't receive that big a boost as her self-proclaimed master is rather weak."
Dante gave a nod and unsheathed Yamato and took a deep breath.
Dante: "Yamato I trust you."
Saying that Dante watched as Yamato glowed with a bright blue-white light and eventually the formerly steel blade looked ethereal almost like misty glass. Taking one last deep breath Dante gently stabbed the blade into the back of Asia's neck and gently slid the blade down her spine, but the strange thing is that there was no blood, as Dante slid the blade down her back the once clear blade slowly turned a shade of red. By the time it reached the base of her spine it had turned blood red, seeing this Dante let out a relieved sigh as he removed the blade and looked at Asia's back to see that there wasn't any marks left, seeing none he turned his attention to Yamato to see all the color converging to the tip and slowly forming an object. When it finished all that was left was a crystalline-red bishop chess piece.
Dante: "Well that's, that then. Asia is no longer a devil and is now a human once more. When she waked up I'll ask her what she wants to do and if I get the chance, I may have Michel reincarnate her as an angel."
Just as he finished with Asia, came back from moving her things using a simple teleportation spell to move her things to Dante's room back at his house.
Akeno: "Did something happen while I was packing?"
Dante nodded.
Dante: "I'll explain later when Asia wakes up, for now let go home."
Akeno just gave a smile with a nod as she followed Dante as they went back to his house with Dante carrying Asia on his back.
