Originally, the Red Bandit Gang had three vice captains which was composed of True Profound Realm practitioners, mostly at the first stage.
However, since Zhen Long slew the kind man intentionally in the Arena of Glory, the gang lost one of their vice captains which made them furious.
Everyday, they would send three of their members to guard at the south of their camp, as to make sure that they would be immediately notified when any intruders tried to breach their territory.
The gang itself was completely oblivious to the fact that Zhen Long had already arrived and had slew the trio who tried to rob his clothes out of him.
And, now.
The leader of the bandit gang was contemplating about his recent dream. It was about a dark sparrow that suddenly descended from the heavens and burned his gang completely.
He believed that it was an ill-omen of an upcoming calamity that would struck their camp.
And, it made him quite nervous and anxious about their future. All he can do was to fortify their defenses to make sure that they would be immediately alerted of intruders.
"!!" It was then that an idea came up to his mind, as he called over the man who was managing the guard rotation within the camp.
"Leader, why did you call me?" Someone entered the leader's office, as the man quickly asked their leader about his summons.
"Is there any news about our guard rotation?" The leader asked with his husky voice.
"There shouldn't be any problems, leader. However, just now, I received a report about our three members that still had not returned from their posts." The man rapidly explained to their leader.
"That's it! Quickly mobilize the troops, and get ready!" The leader suddenly ordered the man to mobilize their forces and prepare for something.
It obviously shocked the man, but he wasn't in the right position to question his leader's decision.
"Yes, leader. I would immediately began our preparations…" The man bowed down his head towards their lead and quickly left the room.
The leader, who was alone within his room, suddenly grabbed out the necklace hanging on his neck.
The necklace shone brightly like a brilliant diamond. The leader then hid the necklace within his clothes, completely oblivious to the written runes within the necklace that was emitting some dimmed lights.
"I wish that it's just a false alarm, as we're still recovering from our recent loss." The leader whispered to himself, as he tried his best to just be calm.
'Why did I even left the sect?' He can't help but ask himself, as he shook his head further.
"There's no regretting it now…" He mumbled to himself, as he gazed at the sky outside of his room.
"...It's calming."
