Chapter 92: Darky and the Test
[6 days later]
Rainy- (I've been fighting against the monsters of the area, and against all the interesting bets I could find. And not a single one was funny! This place is full of weak people. And on the last two days, no one accepts my challenges! What can I do?)
Odin- (well, you can wait outside for the airship. I'm sure we'll see them soon.)
Just as I got outside, I saw the airship in the distance. So I transformed my Keyblade on it's vehicle form, and flew to the deck of the airship.
When I got there, everyone was surprised because they still were at some distance from the ground. I jumped to the deck making my vehicle disappear, and I saw that there were new people.
Harry- Rainy! You saw us? I thought you would be on the arena.
Rainy- not easy when no one want's to fight against me! I've been fighting only monsters for the past 2 days!
Sirius- why I'm not surprised...
Ruby- hey, hey, Rainy. We came with more of mom and dad friends!
Rainy- oh?
Then some people begun to present themselves. The first one was a woman on her 30s that had some painting tools on her belt.
???- my name is Relm Arrowny. Nice to meet you.
The next one was an old man, that looked old but fit, and with a katana on his waist
???- my name is Cyan Garamonde. Pleased to make you acquaintance.
And the last one was a ninja who didn't show his face, but had a similar voice to Sabin.
???- ...Shadow.
Ruby- isn't it awesome-!?
Ruby continued to yell, and be excited about basically everything.
Celes- *sigh* then are you alright?
Rainy- yes. They all were weaklings. The only one strong was a guy named Gilgamesh, and I managed to beat him.
Shadow- !! Gilgamesh?
Celes- you know him?
Shadow- had he red cloth all over the body, and a obsession for the swords?
Rainy- yes.
Shadow- then not only me but all of us know him!
Locke- wait, you are not talking about the Esper Gilgamesh... right?
Rainy- esper?
Juny- it's like the GFs of this world. They disappeared with Kefka and the magic.
Rainy- oh! Then it makes sense. Odin told me that this Gilgamesh guy was a GF, but not anymore. So it's not strange that he was once an esper too.
Relm- and you say you could beat him? He was really strong when we faced him!
Rainy- you faced him too?
Cyan- when we were gathering all the power we could to beat Kefka, he was one of the espers that challenged us to a battle. And he helped us when we won.
Rainy- wow... if you could beat him, that tells a lot about your strength.
We continued the journey towards the Opera House. And I went to sleep.
[Dive to the Heart]
I woke up inside my heart again, and I saw that the platform had changed. Now it had the faces of Harry, Ron and Hermione close to the Rainy in Hogwarts robes. And Juny and Ixat close to the Rainy with the Seed uniform. The platform was a little bigger, and I couldn't hear anything. Everything was too quiet.
Rainy- ... (why am I here again? I thought that this just had to happen once.)
Then, a shadow begun to appear in front of me. It begun to grow, and stopped when it was a copy of me, just dark.
Rainy- ... is this how I looked during the rat incident?
Dark Rainy- yes.
Rainy- heh... I'm not surprised all of them were scared about me!
Dark Rainy- what's that supposed to mean?
Rainy- oh, please. You know what I mean. Besides, take it easy! You are part me, so you are as awesome as I am.
Dark Rainy- you don't need to tell me how awesome I am, light girl.
Rainy- oh? We are going with nicknames, Darky?
Dark Rainy- as much as I would love to, I'm here as a test.
Rainy- oh? Fighting test?
Dark Rainy- yes. You have to defeat me to control your dark form.
Rainy- well... not what I imagined. I thought that I would have to control my anger and meditate a lot. Or something like that... not that I complain!
Dark Rainy- well. That would do the trick too. But let's face it, you would prefer face your darkness head on and beat it's ass.
Rainy- I couldn't have said it better myself. And how is it that you are so similar to me if you are darkness? And how can you be okay with this?
Dark Rainy- oh! Well, I'm not your darkness... I'm technically your will... or your heart... or something like that. I'm not sure myself. But I covered myself with your darkness to give you this chance. The darkness would never give you this opportunity.
Rainy- well, I also want a good fight. So don't disappoint me! You have to be as awesome as that form you are using!
Dark Rainy- heh, we are pretty arrogant aren't we?
Rainy- (haha, I like talking with myself) *gasp* how can you say that of us? Bring it on!
Dark Rainy- haha. I also like talking with myself, Light girl.
Then, Dark Rainy crouched, and got on a position ready to jump on me, with the right hand touching the ground, totally crouched, and with the claws on her hands out.
Rainy- barehanded?
Dark Rainy- that's the best way to use this form's speed.
Rainy- ... fine. I'll beat you with everything I've got, Darky.
I summoned Sleeping Lion on my left hand, and conjured Joyeuse on my right hand. Then I got on a dual wielding position, and she jumped towards me
