Chapter 43: ABROTM
These 12 years everything has been bad news for them.
"Let's hear the good news first," both Adril and Rick replied at the same time.
"The good news is that we have figured out their DNA and the ladder of their evolutionary process, we have modified and refine the DNA so it can be applied to humans, we just need to edit the DNA and provide our neurons in the brain with specific instruction of chemical signals to activate the DNA while complimenting each other, It's a slow process.
The bad news is, there are even fiercer Entomons on the other side of the Galaxy, we will not be able to beat the combine numbers of Entomons, and once if they feel threatened by our presence, the Entomons will spread our information throughout the Galaxy similar to Emergence as their defense mechanism, and with their numbers and quantities, our energy and resources will never be enough unless we become class III civilization, but we don't know how long that will take and seeing our technological development and advancement, by that time the Blue Bloods might have already informed them.
So I come with this new Idea, we need strong allies with large numbers.
The Stag Queen is ambitious and smart, we have wiped out all of her memories and gave her new memory while retaining her cognitive abilities, And even create a new and better evolutionary path for her.
We can make her Queen of the Entomons and a pet for Rick, If she can rule half of the Galaxy, that will be a great boost to our strength and even helpful for the future when we venture out of the Galaxy; Galactic wars are inevitable, we should be prepared for everything." Professor Aizel expresses his ideas.
"How sure are you that she will not betray us," Asked Lord Adril.
"70%, If Rick treats her rightly than 100%, but she will never be a threat to us without Rick's support, she will always be weaker than Rick and she will never be able to evolve on her own, every step to unlock the genetic code of her evolution is within's Rick memory, and all of her memories are wiped out so she will be starting a new life; Earth will be her new home from the moment she is transferred." Professor Aizel replied.
"Why can't I just get a new bug from Earth and make them evolve?" Rick asked as if not agreeing to this plan.
"Well, if you can code the evolutionary DNA of the bugs than you are welcome, the evolutionary step is just a guidance to unlock the gene, she will already have the evolutionary gene once she is transferred, DNA is not something you can change on a wimp, only we in this future can change your DNA," Professor replied with a snort.
"Alright! I agree to this plan, we should start the process," Lord Adril said hurriedly, the more they delay the more variables will arise, they cannot let that happen.
Aizel lead everyone to the machine, there was a huge round pit covered with rare metal plates, sometimes the energy spills over and burns the ground damaging the surroundings and the equipment, also normal metal plates or materials can't withstand the high radiation of the sun.
In the middle they could see a magnificent 10 meters tall with a radius of 5 meters ring connected with 21 large tube-like wires, the 21 electrical cables were attached to the ring from all sides.
A platform was extended close to the ring for the scientist to work on the ring
Many chips were attached to the ring similar to the runes from the fantasies.
"Behold ABROTM!!" Professor Aizel introduces to the machine.
"ABROTM!! Is that the machine name, let me guess Aizel Balfe Ring Of Time Machine? Even a child would be able to guess the machine name after knowing the ring is a time machine." Rick said mockingly.
"Simplicity is the best and easy to remember, and the kid won't be able to guess if he doesn't know my name," Professor Aizel replied with a snort.
A scientist came pushing a cart with wheels, there was a big jar on the top of the cart, inside the Jar was a blue liquid which looks like the blood of the Entomons, after looking closer they saw a big brain inside the jar attach with many sensory wires.
"That's Stag Queen, her body was too big to move around so we only took her brain." One of the Scientist explains.
"Alright, everybody into your position and let's start the phase I," Professor Aizel start commanding.
"Start the machine!" shouted professor Aizel.
BYYYYYYOOUUMM
All of the reactors release an intense amount of energy, they energy roar as they rush through the cables and pour out all of its energy into the ring.
The lights on all of the runes lit up as the intense amount of energy coarse through the structure, the ring absorbs all of the photon and other electromagnetic energy and convert them into quantum particles.
The machine releases the quantum particles containing information about the past, a flimsy transparent screen starts to form inside the ring as the energy keeps pouring into the ring, after a few minutes the screen cover the whole ring and the phase 1 was complete; the transparent screen was formed by quantum particles containing all of the information about the past.
Everyone was sweating, the phase I was a success.
"Start the phase II," Professor Aizel shouted.
The scientist starts calibrating ABROTM the time machine.
The runes on the machine start changing, it was like nerves supplying energy and changing direction.
The machine cranks up its power as the flimsy screen starts changing its color constantly, the machine keeps releasing and replacing the particles as its start pruning unwanted and unrelated particles of the past while constantly creating colors with glitching pictures, the screen was becoming unstable and starts fluctuating.
All of the scientists began to worry as they hold their breath.
Everyone was watching nervously as the screen keeps fluctuating.
"We need more power, increase the power to 35%," shouted Professor Aizel while clenching his fist, failure is not an option.
One of the scientists increase the amount of power, the energy rush through the cables went straight into the ring, a sharp increase in the amount of energy swipe it like a wave and stabilize the screen.
Professor Aizel sighs a relief.
"SIR!! With the amount of energy we have, we could jump the time in 1760 in the era of the industrial revolution," reported one of the scientists.
"No! We cannot risk too far away into the past, the energy consumption is too high and the machine has to be stable for transferring the memories, calibrate the time for 1990," ordered professor Aizel.
They start calibrating the machine for 1990, the machine starts releasing quantum particles with the new information and starts diluting the flimsy screen, it starts fluctuating again.
The humans start increasing more power and stabilize the screen again, the ring was consuming the energy like a black hole.
After stabilizing the screen it starts forming a fuzzy picture, after a few seconds it became clear and starts playing a video of the past, the video on the screen was going back in time slowly.
Everyone was feeling excited.
"It's working," the scientists were shivering with excitement, even professor Aizel was getting excited.
"Stabilize the energy output with this pace," professor Aizel commanded.
"Rick!! it's time for you to prepare," Aizel said as he pulled Rick into the corner and make him sit in a chair.
Rick head was shaved and applied some gels in his forehead.
After that, a sensory metal helmet that is connected with hundreds of wire was put on his head.
Buzzz… the helmet release an electromagnetic wave like a seismic wave inside his head scanning everything.
Rick was startled.
"Don't worry, It's just a simple scan of cells, tissues, and molecules of your brain, It's not a big deal, we can map out everything inside your brain including neurons and their electrical charges easily, our technologies are at the level of quantum particles and we can control yocto level electrons, not the mention these micro-level neurons," Professor Aizel said with a confident tone.
The helmet keeps sending out electrical signals into the brain, it was transferring molecules and copying all of the inside chemical structures, reactions, and signals of the brain, it was collecting memories of the neuron cells.
The process took a few minutes before the data start showing its progress, a 3D virtual screen pop up and start forming a brain, to be exact a virtual brain of Rick.
In this virtual brain, it contains all of the secrets of Rick's body, including his genetic code.
Professor Aizel look at the brain with fascinating eyes.
"Incredible, his brain is already in the evolutionary process, that's why he is so unique and good at fighting or good at learning things," Professor Aizel praise as he zooms in and looks at the brain closer.
He picked up a part of the memory and convert it into a video and start playing.
It was a video of Rick when he was young, he was wearing a loose short sleeves T-shirt and he was practicing his martial arts.
Rick was punching and kicking the bag like he was gonna kill.
"Who is he punching with this much hatred," Aizel turn the angle around and saw a picture attached to the punching bag.
When he saw the face he was surprised, it was his face BAM a hard punch landed on the picture nose which startled the professor and scared him to death.
He touches his nose as he could feel the pain.
"SIR!! We are halfway through, but the further we move to the past, it's consuming even more energy," reported one of the scientists.
"Alright, increase the output," Aizel said as he looked at the memory transfer, it was 87% complete, it is almost over.
After a few minutes, the transfer was complete.
