General information
I skimmed through the book about the neo waste first. After two hours of skimming it, this is roughly what I know. Neo waste was first discovered by an American scientist known as Emmanuel Mana. He discovered that by effectively refining nuclear waste he'd be able to awaken certain abilities that were dormant within living beings.
After this news reached the White House information about this was somehow leaked onto all major world governments. Thus, after the first discovery that this was possible, a race for being the first to incorporate it into soldiers started.
Major governments around the world started this hidden program with the U.S. and its allies on one side and the Soviet Union's on the other. This means that this hidden element was also a part of the cold war or it played some factors. After numerous experiments, the first nation to succeed was The U.S.
A 23-year-old woman name Rosalinda Eos. She became known as "The First," very creative naming sense. However, even with this success, the percentage of people who could survive having neo waste poured on them was low. It is said to have had a closer to 0 than to 1 percent success rate.
Women were mostly the ones tested at the time since it looked like women were more compatible than a man to the neo waste. The first male to have finally been able to survive the neo waste is a Japanese male by the Hajime Yamamoto. Due to this, the Soviets started falling behind.
However, in 1974, a Russian scientist by the name of Gely Korzhev discovered something about the waste. That it is more optimal to be used on children between the ages of 8 and 20. This itself raised the probability of survival to 3 percent. While the number itself wasn't much it was still high compared to the rest of the world.
This information was leaked out, America and its allies not wanting to fall behind started child experimentation as well. Using the different wars, illegal immigrants, just about anything as an excuse to use selected people as a target for the experiments. This child experimentation carried through all the way until 1988 where fellow magic soldiers banded together to push against the tyranny of the major governments.
In 1990, near the end of the cold war, many major governments came together and banned the usage of neo waste on any human beings. And any country that did so would have heavy restrictions put on their neo waste programs.
In 1995 a British scientist named Charlie Davis discovered with the help of an alchemist that neo waste could be used in the creation of weapons, contracts, and many other things. Thus an era where neo waste is used to create different things that both help and bind magic soldiers appeared and here we are at the present.
That book only had some general history about Neo waste. Well, this is enough for now. However, that really explains why I am such a rare existence. And if that's the case, how did, whoever left that bag drop on me, acquire the waste? It sounds like something like this would be heavily guarded with the utmost secrecy with only a few knowing of its existence.
I wonder how the Lotus Flower even had someone who could use magic, could it be that since there were no magic contracts back then a lot of magic soldiers left? Are grown magic soldiers even bound by a contract? I sigh, I only need general knowledge, for now, I won't try to pry too much into the existence of opposing magic soldiers. That's not my objective anyway.
Now...I guess it's time to read about the general history of the other realms. I read and skimmed the book about the other realms for about 3 hours or so. This is what I found.
Firstly, there are 7 other realms besides earth, these realms appeared in the late 1970s. Each realm has major and minor gates. The major gates are located in the following countries. There's one in the U.S. mainland, in the midwest, and another near the southeast coast. The next major gates can be found in Krasnoyarsk, Russia; Tibet, China; Chubu, Japan; Northumbria, Great Britain; Northen Cape, South Africa. These are all provinces and general areas, it looks like this information was kept vague for some reason. (Author note: This little part took so much research!!!)

The difference between major and minor Gates are the following: Major gates are a couple of times greater than minor gates and Major gates are usually more advantageous since all of them lead to unclaimed territory in the other realms. Why is this a major plus? Troops are able to set up a base of operations more quickly without having to mind the other realms inhabitants.
As for minor gates, they are scattered all around the world and there are too many of them to count. These gates open to already settled territories and are forced to interact with the governments already in place there. So that means that in each realm there are presences of minor countries along with major countries.
Also, gates can't appear within a certain distance of one another, this distance is dependant on the gates size and the strength of the realms within since the strength also indicates the attraction of particles in the air. The only reason why the U.S. has a claim of two is due to two things, it's great territory and the fact that the second major gate is in the Bermuda Triangle rather than inside the U.S. However, the U.S. claimed it as their gate so they are stuck managing two gates.
And while China and Russia have greater territories the reason that they only have one gate each is believed to be due to the proximity of the other major gates. According to theory, due to the proximity of the major gates to one another in Asia, there's interference with one another so other gates don't appear that closely.
Other than the triangle from in between these three major gates, minor gates are found almost everywhere. Well, that's all about the locations. The most important is the gate classifications and some general knowledge of each realm.
The gates are classified by how strong the other side of the gate compared to each other. The scale for the strength of the other side from weakest to strongest are as follows: America (Midwest), South Africa, Great Britain, China, Japan, Russia, America (Bermuda triangles).
It is also believed that out of all the 8 realms, Earth is the weakest in terms of technology and magical power. However, that's the average itself, in terms of magic soldiers, the potential of growth is comparable to the Japanese realm's best. Aside from the ranking, there's also some General information about each realm.
First the American(Midwest) realms, from what I can gather it's a regular fantasy world. There's a demon lord cycle, different races, adventurers guild and crap like that.
The South African Realm has many kingdoms each with there respective race or races. In this realm, they have come to the conclusion that wars and such are too costly on human lives. So instead, whenever a country wants to settle things with one another and can't come to a compromise, a tournament will ensue with each countries' respective representative. The country that wins has the right to choose, if any country is caught trying to start a war then every other country will punish that country.
The realm in Great Britain is one where the Demon Lord has won over the human races. According to this, humans are at the mercy of demons since the Demon Lord won the war between them and a coalition of every other race. Thus, demons rule over the lands and every other race is considered a minor race.
The Chinese Realm is at the Dark ages and is similar to the American(Midwest) realm. The difference between this realm and the American one is the fact that instead of there being a Demon Lord reincarnation cycle, there are various Demon Lords that fight one another for supremacy and every other race has abandoned racial differences in order to fight against all the Demon Lords.
The Japanese Realm has the technological advancements of the 1900s however in this realm there are disputes between four major races: Angels, Humans, Demons and Dark Angels. There's a treaty in place so there's no war but there are tensions within each faction. This is shown in the form of a city located at the border of every territory of each race, an academy was built in this city for all races in the hopes of reconciliation of the younger generation. However, even though the city was supposed to be a symbol of peace, it instead turned into the symbol of the discrimination each race has for one another.
The Russian Realm is extremely technologically advanced compared to the others. They have reached the age of space exploration through machinery and while magic is existent in that realm, it is mostly used infused with guns, suits and other things, never directly. This is due to the magic deficiency however they have advanced knowledge in science.
The American (Bermuda) realm resembles the middle age but somehow they have reached the space age in a sense. According to this book, the magic in the realm is so advanced that they reached the conclusion of teleporting between planets by creating teleportation gates rather than just creating space technology. The technology is way underdeveloped but magic is the greatest by a couple of times compared to the other realms.
This is a lot of information to take in... I think this will do for today. Time to go find my dorm now.

Grasshopper_sensei Just throwing General knowledge about the world, don't mind me ;), I know it's boring to some but I tried condensing it to only one chapter. Also, if I actually choose to keep on going with this story, Luis will have explored all of those realms due to specific reasons that I will put. However, that's only an if situation.
