Chapter 9: Similar
I was deprived of sleep and was barely awake in school. Staying up all night practicing playing the violin was not worth it. As I dragged my feet along the hallways of school, I was oblivious to the trash can which was in front of me. I accidentally hit it and unfortunately, fell on my face.
"Ouch!"The pain made me wake up with a start. All the other students were jeering and laughing at me and I felt my cheeks burning up. This was not a good way to start the day.
While strolling in the hallways and waiting for the next lesson to start, I heard the most beautiful thing ever. It was a melody that could possibly make a dead person come back to life. Even a god could not produce this type of music. Attracted to the tune, I followed the sound and found myself standing outside of the music production room. I opened the door with caution and saw that the person had his back facing me and he was standing up awkwardly, like he was just about to run away.
"Excuse me, the music you played with the piano was really nice just now. Maybe you could teach -" I was cut off by a loud screeching. I turned back and saw the microphone lying on the ground. It must have dropped. I bent down to pick it up and the guy said to me," I don't have time. Go learn it yourself." After finishing the sentence, he ran off. " Why are all people in this school idiots?" I mumbled to myself. First Ashton, now him! Talking about Ashton, that guy just now had the similar annoying voice as Ashton! But he was wearing a hat so I could not see his hair colour. Maybe he's just some random guy with a similar voice. After thinking for a while, I came to the conclusion that that was someone else.
