King of the Blood Orcs
In the Church of Light, Balmond is chained in ropes that has the same energy of Kaja's whip. He keeps on struggling and shouting at everyone he sees. "Damn humans! You will regret this!", he said at the two soldiers guarding him.
After a while, Rafaela came in and ask, "Can you stop the attack? I don't like to have bloodshed in my people and even yours." Balmond just laugh at her while still trying to free himself.
All Rafaela can see is the darkness inside the Orc. As if it was polluted by some dark energy. Rafaela tried to use the Light of Retribution to him but the darkness is so strong that even Rafaela is affected by the energy. "You are chained here inside the Church of Light and you are chained by the darkness inside your heart. If you wanted to be free, tried to accept the light. Let me heal you and everyone of you.", Rafaela said this to him while holding Balmond's arm.
"I don't want to be saved. I like the darkness inside me. It made me stronger than I ever was. Even if I will become a pawn to the Blood Queen forever, I will not remove this power."
As Rafaela heard this, she quickly remembered how thirsty Argus was for power. That she is too late to try and save him from his damnation. She didn't see the signs of darkness in him because she is blinded by her trust and love. She failed on becomming a friend that will help Argus on keeping his sanity. She failed to bring him hope.
Suddenly, Balmond freed himself from the chains and quickly grabbed Rafaela. "You will die now, puny angel!", and strangled her to death. Rafaela is turned into a spirit and tried her best to heal Balmond's spirit and as she vanish from the Church, there is an explosion of light and after that Rafaela is gone and Balmond is unconscious on the floor.
Rafaela is ressurected in the Celestial Palace where she is greeted by Uranus. "Ha! First time dying in the mortal world?", he laughed and quickly guided Rafaela to the way down. "You know that you are an angel right? And it is not your duty to help people in their own war."
"I know old friend. But I want peace and If I don't go back there, there will be no balance between the Light and Dark. I am going to return here with Argus. And I will do my best to save him."
"Hey you should remember that you can't save everyone. And it's okay. Don't be too hard on yourself. You will always be welcomed here." said Uranus as he opened the gate down to the Land of Dawn. "Goodluck Rafaela."
"Thanks Uranus.", said Rafaela as she flew back to the Church of Light.
When she returned, Balmond is sitting near thre altar. He is calm and when he saw Rafaela, he hugged her so tight that Rafaela even joked, "Hey that's enough! I might die again."
"Thank you for saving me." said Balmond. "Im in her control for so long that I don't even know who am I now."
"You are still you. But now, you will have your own will. And you can now save your people from darkness."
