Chapter 1: THE ELDER ONE WHO LIVED
In the small city of Ranchi in India, there lived a family of five named - the Agarwals. Two children , their parents and grandfather.
The elder boy named Devesh Agarwal came out of the house in the morning to fetch the letters and newspaper when a neighbour suddenly waved to him .
"Good morning Mr. Kanth , a lovely day isn't it." said Devesh waving back. "Yes , indeed it is Deve ." replied Mr. Kanth . Everyone who knew him usually called Deve also for a reason he was a good detective too. " How's your day going , Mr. Kanth?"asked Deve . " I am fine and I see you going to fetch the newspapers and letters. I often wonder how did your dad train that owl for these jobs." replied Mr. Kanth. "I wonder that too. " Deve said sighing.
Deve fetched the things and went inside the house.
" You're late , boy. Where have you been?"asked Mr. Anand Agarwal ( Deve's Dad). " I was talking to the neighbour and if it's that late go and fetch it yourself next time ." said Deve. "You have started arguing with your father , you deserve some punishment." saying this he started tickling Deve.
After some time, Deve's mother ( Mrs. Nisha Agarwal) shouted from the kitchen "Stop you two and get ready ." "Fine " both of them said sighing deeply.
After breakfast , they left for the places they needed to reach.
Some time after school ends , Deve is talking to his best friend Samriddh a.k.a Sam . " Today's classes were horrible ." said Deve. " Yeah it was , see you later then." said Sam . For the rest of the day Deve studied , played and helped his mother.
