Chapter 13: Slap
"Why are you standing there and not going in darling?" Lucas's questioned from behind her. At the sound of someone's voice She flinched and slowly twisted her body around.
"I can't go back I really can't," she replied pulling her face into a strange frown."Help me Lucas." she moaned while grabbing onto his sleeve.
"Come here," Lucas said pulling her into a corner near the entrance. "Well I knew this would happen so I prepared a contract beforehand, although you won't see it until tomorrow once you say yes to my proposal you will have to follow my conditions. I'll protect you on some conditions, I'll make sure he can't take you back and that'll you'll divorce. However I can't tell you the conditions now but I'll have them sent to you tomorrow." he concluded.
She closed her eyes and pondered for a while. He wouldn't make her do anything stupid, Lucas wasn't the type to do that, but could she risk the chance that it could be something stupid? Yes she could, in this situation nothing could be worse than getting back together with him. She cringed at the thought of his face not even his breathing made her cringe. "Ok I'll do it but I can add my own conditions as well right? As a business man you should at least offer that much, of course they won't go against your conditions." she spoke after a short silence. She stared confidently into his eyes, demanding equality, this was the easiest way to get rid of him.
"Depends on what they are darling, come on let's go in to meet your dear husband we've been talking for some time and we're late." he replied vaguely and proceed to take her by her hand and pulled her into the place she didn't want to be in.
Making their way to the table they weaved in and out of tables while following the waiter. When they got to their table Lucas pulled out a chair for her and sat down. "Your late, how disrespectful, and to come in holding hands with someone's wife do you have no shame?" his voice sounded, it was deep and despite his patronising words his voice was calm showing that he didn't care.
"Well the thing is we came to tell you that we're together now and that we'll hope you cooperate." Lucas said smiling while looking at her. While listening to his words her eyes dilated and her mouth formed an O shape. As she had sat next to Lucas she gently kicked him under the table.
