"You seemed to have forgotten about your fate, dear Leomord and Lunox."
This was Vexana's greeting to the both of them as they entered the palace doors with huge smiles on their face.
"What fate?" Leomord and Lunox says in unison.
Vexana releases an emotionless laugh.
"You have not recovered all your memories after all."

This all happened in the past. The past everyone seemed to have neglected and ignored. The past that has been already buried under heaps of memories, good or bad.
In the heart of the young nation of the Land of the Dawn, stood one of the greatest kingdoms known in their dynasty. The Radiatus Lunaris Dominium.
This empire, akin to its name, shone bright like a full moon amidst the dark sky. No matter how many times invaders had tried to capture this empire, they all failed and return empty handed.
Their strong, united empire was led by of course, a king and a queen, righteous of their positions.
The king and his queen were blessed with a bouncing, beautiful princess. They named her Luciera, in honor of their kingdom's name.
Day and night, dusk til dawn, Luciera was trained to become every inch of a princess. But, as everyone says, a heart whose ambitions are different, will stray from their destined path and make their own.
Luciera, growing up, was never prim. She liked taking risks and preferred to be never under the guidance of anyone.
Like the moon. Independent. Stunning.
Even when there are no stars in the night sky, the moon would always shine bright. It is an independent heavenly body. Or it's what they all used to think.
Luciera was mischievous, in contrast to the proper and dutiful Leo.
These two were an odd duo. She was every bit of mischief, as he was every bit of a gentleman.
No one ever knew the reason why they fell in love with each other.
But maybe, you need no reason to be in love. Maybe, when you're in love, you just love a person with no particular reason why. That is true and innocent love.
The once independent, free-spirited Luciera is now uptight and dependent to her love, Leo. Her parents, the king and queen, did not like any bit of her change. They missed their free spirited daughter.
But even they could not stop a heart from loving.
Leo was a son to one of the kingdom's royal knights. Loving and gentle, his parents loved him dearly with all their hearts.
But just like how love changed the carefree Luciera, it changed the careful Leo as well.
He was now careless of his actions, using his heart over his mind. Love over circumstance.
Love killed every bit of character they thought they knew they personally had. Now, it had replaced these qualities. Turning them into a whole different person.
This is the story of how the careless Luciera and the careful Leo, fell in love. Or perhaps, how they fell into the trap fate had placed for them. Love.
Oh my gosh... I actually do not know what to write. But anyways, the next chapter will be ENTIRELY flashbacks.

"You do not know what you are doing, Luciera!" Luce's mother reprimanded her, but she was too busy thinking about eloping with her love, Leo.
She lay on her bed, her back facing the ceiling as she thinks.
Her train of thoughts were only cut off when she heard her door shut in a loud way.
Sighing, she walks toward her closet and packing the things she knew she was going to need.
The thought of escaping the home she grew up from, broke her heart. Saddened her to the extent. It will break her parents' hearts, for sure. But when would she ever stop living according to their wishes? When's it gonna be her turn to be happy? When?
She knew, ever since she was a child, that there would be a time for genuine happiness to find its way to her. And she knew by heart, that that time is now.
Her happiness is her beloved. Her Leo.
The thought of meeting him again, excited her. She packed quickly until there was no space left for more things.
She will leave this place— her life long sanctuary— with a broken spirit. But she knew, that if she wouldn't, she would live this life with a broken heart.
She turned away from the castle and marched on to their meeting place. The tree where they first met.
Her childhood sanctuary, her home, would always remain in her memories. They will lie deep in her mind and heart. And forever, they will rest in there, never to be forgotten.
"Leo!" she shouts at the hunched figure just beside the tree, the witness of every second of affection and emotion they both shared.
His hunched figure's stance fixes, standing upright, like the gentleman he is.
"Luce! I thought you wouldn't come!" he shouts, running towards her with arms wide open.
"I thought you wouldn't choose me..." his voice trails off as he reaches her, burying his face into her neck. She felt his shoulders shake and her shoulder getting wet with his tears.
She patted him gently on the back before caressing his hair like she used to, "I would always choose you, Leo. Always."
The tree was not the only witness of their love. In fact; the sun, the moon, the stars, the sky, the grass, the birds. Everything found in sight, could testify how much they loved each other.
"I love you," they said in unison, looking into both of their eyes. Drowning themselves.
As the sun goes down into the horizon, her lips and his met.
And maybe... this was the last time it ever will.
Oof.. shorter chapters now becos.. hehe. Yeah.
Anyways.. sorry for the short short chapters. Idk what to write now because I am honestly focusing on the ending. It's like, ending above everything else for me lmao.
Oh and... the next chapter is still in FLASHBACK. I'll just tell you guys when the flashback ends.
