Chapter 29: or else only regret
Jasper patience was wearing thin as he couldn't find her anywhere, he came to a stop on the road
an incident came his mind which happened this afternoon. " Jas , we already visited your aunt's grave but not you , please go visit her before your wedding ceremony " spoke Athena
he remembers as his aunt Jenna used to shield him from all the punishment he used to get and the love he got from his ,so he visited her every year . He nodded his head confirming his mother he would visit
when he placed the bouquet of white roses as they were her favorite, he stood before his aunt grave when he herd a woman's voice. He didn't wanted to stay but something stopped him so he went near the ownerof the voice
"kat is getting married" he turned when he saw a silhouette of a woman which was somewhat familiar for him, he went closer and stood behind a tree when he observed closely 'she is the woman's best friend ' as he saw her in two pictures presented in her file
when he thought of leaving he couldn't as he wanted to know something but what specific was he didn't know so he stood their and listened
"ya the same midnight blue hair girl " she chuckled making his lips tug into a smile unknowingly when he saw her chuckle
"but now she has become a strong woman, I am proud of her.
I willl come with her later alright, I miss mom too " she whispered something to the head stone towards her right which he couldn't listen ,then she kissed it and turned towards her left after few seconds of talking
he silently listened to the conversation
he heard many information regarding her which were not mentioned in the file mentally preparing to scold Blake for his incompetent work .
He saw her smile ,laugh, broke down but he didn't have the right to console her which reign from reaching out to her
he was shocked when she said she will give up her ownership of company to Katherine. As no one will give up the company they worked hard and have a bright future ahead , he felt something towards her. But he couldn't let them grow as he was marrying her best friend.
he decided to leave but he couldn't leave her, when he saw her panicked face he was about to rush towards her but stopped when she mentioned about being late for the marriage
he went to the place she occupied before she left seeing sunflowers and white lilies
but something tugged his heart when he saw the names

he felt, he was lucky as he had his grandparents, parents, brothers, uncles and cousins but she didn't as she was the only daughter and she didn't have any grandparents or siblings
we never know how blessed we are sometimes as someone out there will be ready to give anything away to experience the love they had before it was lost forever, we have to remember to cherish this love as much as it could or else only regret and guilt will never leave us
