"She can walk on it," Leon said at Ricardo's rejection.
"She can't go to school with those."
"Who said it is for school, if you don't know nothing just shut your mouth and follow or better yet, just leave us alone and go," Leon said out of annoyance, he was getting tired of this pest that was trying to ruin his time with his wife.
"Ricardo he don't mean that," Angel said.
"How do you know that? Why are you only accepting his opinion and not mine?" Ricardo said.
"Because…"
"I mean it though. Angel is either he shut his mouth while following us or he just leave," Leon said.
"I am not leaving but I will not shut my mouth either," Ricardo refuted.
"Fine, then I will leave," Leon said and put down the bags.
"Ricardo leave, I really needs Leo help. Just go, I am sure we would see each other in school soon," Angel said.
"Fine, but after our exams we would hand out a bit," Ricardo said.
"We will see," Angel said and started looking at the shoes again.
Ricardo didn't leave, instead he followed them around. A few times he attempted to pay for her things but Leon always blocked him and allowed Angel to pay for own things. Ricardo hated that the Leo guy was making Angel pay for everything herself but didn't allow him to carry a single bag either, but Leon on the other hand was happy that everything he suggested was bought by Angel and that it was actually his money that was buying it since it was the royalty family money and everything owned by the royalty family was his.
Angel was satisfied with everything that Leo choose for her since she knew that he would choose things that was for the challenge. After she finished buying everything that she needed and show the clipboard to Leo, they filled out the list with the prices and attached the receipts to it. Ricardo wanted to help and it was only then did he find out that she was actually in a competition and Leo knew about it and that was the reason why she accepted his opinion.
Ricardo felt relieved and didn't feel left out anymore, "I should be heading back now," Angel said and got up. She held all her purchases and started heading out, Ricardo and Leon followed her all the way to the carpark.
The bus driver saw the young master and was about to call out to him but Leon placed his hand on his lips so he wouldn't say anything. The driver looked at Angel who seemed a bit happy and contended and he made a note in his heart to treat this young lady with respect, but Ricardo didn't miss the simple actions of Leon and the driver.
He was about to call out to Angel and warn her but Leon grabbed at the back of his collar and dragged him away from the bus. "You dare mention a word to her and I will kill you," Leon told him.
"She would realize I am missing when she don't see me around," Ricardo said with a smirk.
"She will believe anything I tell her," Leon said.
"How are you so sure?"
"Because she trust me. Not don't get involve in things you shouldn't," Leon said.
"I will tell her and I am sure she will become mine before she will ever become your," Ricardo said with confidence.
"It is no use for you to even compete with me, you have already lost," Leon said and left him there before heading to his own car.
"I have already lost? You wish. We know each other for two years already and we would both be attending the same University. She will be mine, I can assure you of that. She will be mine since she is more beautiful now and have actually caught my eyes and heart," Ricardo said and then returned to the mall and towards Mr. Frank's office.
"Uncle Keith, how do Angel and the Leo guy know each other?"
"The Leo guy? Ricardo please don't involve with that young lady," his uncle told him.
"Why uncle? Is not like she is his mate or something?"
"Ricardo, you had your chance with her before and you refused her."
"I didn't expect her to become so beautiful."
"Is that why you want her now? Is it because she is beautiful and not the fat girl that your parents sent you on a blind date with four years ago?"
"I got to know her a bit these last two years, we have been doing some group courses together, but this last week and few days have made her beauty shown."
"You should give up from now because she might become the next queen."
"Wait what? You mean she is participating in the Future Queen Challenge? And the Leo guy?"
"Don't worry about him, just try to avoid the young lady."
"Thanks uncle," he said and left the office, he still wanted to know who the Leo guy was and why he was interested with her. But now that Angel was so beautiful and she was off limits he wanted her more than before.
"I will make her fall in love with me," he sat as he sat in his car, "Leo, you will regret trying to take what I want."
Leon on the other hand was pissed while in his car back to the hotel. He was happy that he got to choose a few things for her but he was unhappy that there was another man that wanted to take his woman away.
Leon made a note to himself to keep a close eye on this man and to warn Angel to stay away from him. He knew there was still a possibility that she might fall in love with someone else during the year.
He had to think of a way to keep her from spending more time with Ricardo especially when he was not around. Suddenly he remembered that Mr. Frank knew the man and gave him a call, it was only after the third time that he called that Mr. Frank answered.
