Chapter 17: Key Cards
"Who did you get?" Jeffery asked his youngest brother. When Jack gave him the list he was in disbelief, "Out of all the packs, why this one?"
"I don't know either. Did you know Ronald is also assigned to them?"
"Wait, what?"
"Yes, you know he only ever answers to the young master. I didn't expect that he would also be in this selection."
"It must be because the young master is apart of it. Have you heard from Lee?"
"He messaged and said the master made his choice already, I think she might be in this pack."
"Treat them well then," Jeffery whispered back to his brother before getting up and creating a bunch of key cards. Jeffery then did the same thing the manager did to make it easier for his brother to finding the rooms and the key cards to go with it.
"Good luck, this week might be a busy week," Jeffery told his brother as he gave him the bunch.
"Thanks man," Jack told him and then left the reception area with the bunch of key cards attached to cart and the list under a luggage so that it wouldn't lost. He pressed the elevator and as soon as the doors opened he entered.
After Ronald entered the bus he said, "We have arrived at Royalty Hotel, you would be provided an apartment that you will have to share with other candidates. The other candidates may be of your same pack or another. The ten of will be staying here and would have to share the same attendant, trainer, assistant and caretaker until you are eliminated. The ten of you will stand in the line to see the receptionist according to how I call your name, the receptionist will give you your schedule for this upcoming week as well as your apartment and room key cards. Your things should be in your room when you arrive. Now I will start calling the names, when I call your name you will get up from your seat, exit the bus and join the line. Alisha Petal," he called the first name and a red hair petite girl got up and exit the bus.
"Noelle Brown, Janelle Wonder, Elizabeth Road, Stacy Petal, Joanna Wonder, Shelly Brown, Ginny Road, Melissa Road and Angel White."
Angel's name was the last to be called, she believed it was because she handed in her form first but she didn't mind. When she joined the line all five receptionist were occupied and there were three other girls in the line before it was Alisha's turn.
Angel turned out to be the last girl to be attended to since there was no other pack that came after them. Angel was first given two key cards, the receptionist pointed out the difference on the two cards, as one was plain with a gold number printed on it while the other had a blue rose design on it.
The receptionist then gave her a sheet of paper which was the schedule with the outline of their weeks activities, meeting time and training time. She was then given a map which had five colors on it, the first being the biggest covering over four fifths of the hotel in a grey scale color. The next one fifth of the map was white, then there was an area that was blue with the writing 'meeting room', another area was red and it had the writing 'gym/training room' and then the last color was green with a single word 'room'
Angel could see from the map that the hotel had fifty floors and according to the map, her room was on the fortieth floor. According to the map the first floor was where the reception area, restaurant and swimming pools were. The second floor had a spa, the third floor had a variety of cosmetic stores, fourth to six floors had shoe stores, seventh to fifteenth floor had clothes stores, sixteenth to eighteenth floor had training rooms, nineteenth and twentieth floor had meeting rooms. On the twenty first to twenty fifth floors had halls and from the twenty sixth to the fiftieth floor consisted of apartments.
The apartments were built with a variety of different amount of rooms which varied with the lower the floor the more rooms were in the apartment. The most amount of rooms an apartment had were ten, then there were seven, five, three, two and one room apartments. There were seven floors with ten rooms, five floors with seven rooms, five floors with five rooms, three floors with three rooms, three floors with two rooms and two floors with one room or presidential suites.
The receptionist gave her another piece of paper that stated that breakfast were served between the hours of six to eleven, lunch was from eleven to three, supper or tea break was from three to six and dinner was from six to eight.
Angel then looked at the schedule was had pampering day written for Saturday, Angel noticed it had her scheduled for the spa between eight to twelve and then shopping from twelve to six, but then it had a note that whenever she finished in the spa she could start shopping.
Angel didn't bother to head to her room but instead head towards the restaurant to get breakfast, when she was about to enter the attendant in the restaurant asked, "Do you have your room key card?" Angel showed her the card, "Good, when you finish ordering and eating you can inform the waiter and he would let you swipe the card. You can use the card at any business place you want to purchase anything."
Angel smiled to show the attendant that she understood what she was saying and then continued towards an empty table. Soon a waiter arrived at her table and showed her the menu, Angel chose a simple meal which was pancakes, scrambled eggs and a glass of milk.
Her breakfast was served shortly after and just as the attendant told her, when she had finished eating the waiter returned with a card machine and Angel swiped her room card. She then left and head to the second floor where the spa was.
