Chapter 7: Mate?
"What are you doing?" Leon heard a female voice asking and it was then did he realize that he was leaning into the young lady sitting next to him and his lips was a few inches away from hers. He straightened himself and looked at Leena, he saw that she had a protruding belly that was a clear sign of her pregnancy and she seemed to be in her mid twenties.
"I asked you what you were doing?" she asked again and was looking at him with disapproval clearly written on her face.
"I was going to kiss my mate," he said.
"Mate? When did she become your mate?" Leena asked.
"Just now," Leon said and pointed his finger at the mark.
"The mark doesn't show your mark."
"Obviously, it would show after the mark has faded. I plan to marry her as well," Leon said.
"How do you plan to do that? I do not agree to it."
"It's doesn't matter if you approve of it or not, I choose to marry her and make her my wife, however I have to do that without her knowing I marry and mark her."
"Your plan will fail."
"Why?"
"Because I will tell her," Leena said, but then asked, "Who are you?"
"Jay Mu, and this is my friend Lee Chin, we will be staying here for a few weeks and then return to our country."
"Did you just mark her?" Yin asked.
"Yes, why?"
"Leena you will not mention anything to Angel. In fact you are going to help him marry Angel in secret."
"Why should I?"
"It is either that you see Angel continue suffering or you try to help her out to have a better life. When she wakes up you will also try to guide her on ways to move on to the next round of the selection."
"I understand that father, but what those that have to do with him?" Leena said and pointed at Leon.
"All you need to know is that he is your nephew and we will do everything to help him and Angel," Yin said.
"Nephew?" Leena asked and then thought, 'My nephew name is Leon and he is presently living in Country A. How can this young man who name is Jay Mu be my nephew?' but while she was thinking she looked at Leon and slowly started to see the resemblance of the king and her twin sister on him. 'Could Jay Mu be his disguise name? If that is the case then that means that the curse would be lifted off Angel? Angel could have a better life if he really is my nephew.' "Fine I will help, I would even get her to sign the marriage contract without her even knowing."
"How can you do that?" Lee asked as his mission was to protect the young prince and to help him become the next king.
"Father, Angel has receive her package today. I can include the marriage contract between it and you know she always listen to you, so you can get her to sign the papers. Also you should know examinations are starting next two weeks."
"She has to sign one that has the Royalty stamp and heading on it," Leon said.
"Let us see what the package has in it then," Yin said.
"Jeremy, my things as well as Angel things are on the backseat of my car, can you get it for dad and I will go and inform the maids to prepare dinner for Angel pack members."
"I will," Jeremy said and hurried out of the house.
"Get them to prepare food that of the Royalty family standard, can't let her be punished if the representative does not find the food up to his standard," Yin said.
"Will do," Leena said and then left the living room and head into the kitchen.
"I want to see you in my study," Yin said and got of from his seat and was heading towards his study.
"Lee stay with her," Leon told Lee and then followed Yin towards his study.
Yin held the door open for Leon and said, "Sit," after Leon entered the study before he closed the door and walked behind his desk and sit down. "Did you really mark her?"
"Yes."
"Are you going to marry her?"
"Yes."
"Do you have any intensions of divorcing her later down the road if she is eliminated throughout the selection?"
"No, I already mark her, what is the use of marking her and marrying her and then divorcing her?"
"So you do have full intentions of taking complete responsibility of her?"
"Yes."
"Good, because as her godfather I need to know that my goddaughter is in good and safe hands. I also hope you know that even though you are my grandson, she is still very important to me. I will hold you at your word and I hope that you do not do anything to ever make her shed a tear or cause her any discomfort. You are to treat her as your equal and never look down on her. You are not allowed to cheat or look at another woman from this day onwards. You are not allowed to force her to do anything that she may not be ready for or may not want to do. You are to treat her like your world and help her way she may fall short."
"I understand sir, I promise to treat her my one and only and to accept her in my heart and life until the day we shall die. I promise not to look at any other girl or woman that may be interested in me and will work very hard to help her along the way to accomplish her dreams and to make her the best queen that would ever live. I will honor her words and worship her as if she is my goddess and will work to become her equal as the best king that will ever be. She is my mate and she will always be my mate until the day I die and maybe in every lifetime after this one."
"Good, dinner will be ready soon and I believe she will be getting up soon."
"Let her sign first and I will sign after, I can drop of her package for her tomorrow."
"Sounds like a good idea. The package should have which lawyer you have to drop it off by."
"We will see the information when we open the package, I think Uncle Jeremy should be back by now."
Yin got up and walked out the study with Leon behind him as the both of them head back into the living room. Jeremy had returned already and beside him was a documents casing, a travel bag, a backpack that was worn out, a handbag and on the coffee table was a thick, brown manila envelope that was still seal. "Jeremy get a blue ink thin nib pen for me," Yin said.
"Already here," Jeremy said and hand Yin a pen that was to the side of the envelope.
