Chapter 1: Darkness Before Dawn
"From ashes you came, to ashes you return!"
It was the last cry I heard, echoing and resounding in my ears. The place was dark, as it always has been. Then I saw a fragment of light, it was pale and warm.
Valir had casted his ultimate, his perfectly crafted "Hell Fire", enclosing the enemy inside a ring of devouring flames.
But his enemy remained firm. He just walked past the flames, and even walked slowly, ignoring the raging and hungry fire around him. Then a devilish laughing sound thundered the sky. The cries of burning flames could never be heard of. A roar of fatal darkness took over.
I can see right after the ghost darkness that Helcurt, the Shadow Bringer, flickered behind Valir.
"When will you ever learn, Valir?" Helcurt ironically asked him, showing him his deadly demonic stinger.
A sound of pain followed. Valir screamed to the depth of his soul as Helcurt's claws pierced and crushed his spine, vertically slicing his body in two.
Valir.. is dead.
