Chapter 9: In the Shrouds of Darkness

The flower bracelet led them to a suspicious-looking canal and there they found putrid bodies of villagers, rapid dark waters flowing through the canals, broken pipes filling the humid air with a strong stench.

"Be cautious milady," Belerick said

"Then I will, my friend," Guinevere answered.

As they amble in the entrance of the canals in a very serious manner. The two kept looking for more clues what had made Guinevere's brother go into this place. The feeling is indescribable followed by the temperature rising in the small opening on the floors.

The longer the distance they take, the quicker the light fades before their feet. The darkness-filled surroundings starts to mix with fumes.

"Nature, Your child is in need of your help," (Provide light in these dark earth) As Belerick say this chant, The flower from it's head bloomed to light.

"Let us make haste, my guardian before the light escapes," Guinevere said.

They ran quickly as possible on the last opening of the canal, Hoping that they would take a glimpse of Lancelot's face.

"HA HA HA!" A hysterical laugh from afar with a voice whispering "Good thing you made this far," The deep voice added.

"Lancelot?" Guinevere replied.

"Get away from her," Lancelot said barely seeing the creature behind him.

The creature soon appeared.

"I- I WILL BE THE LAST THING YOU'LL EVER SEE!"
