Chapter 1: Chapter -1
Late December evening,as snow start to fall Rhea was busy at the fireplace beside her Granny.She love to listen the tales of distant lands and dream of visiting there.Her Granny was a 70year old woman who can barely walk without any support.As Rhea lost her Mom she was the only one with whom Rhea shares everything.
Days past nice as they collect there food and other need from the nearby town,she has a dog named Brownie which followed her everywhere she goes.They owned a small cottage nearby the forest,and a small garden at the backyardof the house,somehow they manage there livelihood in a proper way.
One day while she was sitting near the fireplace and her Granny was busy knitting she heard a scream from the woods,both she and her granny was afraid as if death touched them with the cold hands...But after sometime Rhea gathered some courage and open the door to the entrance with a lantern in her hand .
She asked "Who are you?"
The Shadow came forward laming with one leg and replied"Am a Traveller I lost my way and had injured can you please help me".
Till then Rhea's Granny came there and she let the stranger in and told Rhea to offer him some tea and a scarf to wrap as he was shivering badly.Now Rhea had a look of the stranger ,he was a youngman of barely 27years with a good physique.She offered him a cup of coffee and some dried bacon...
Now the man look relaxed and he said his name is Arjit,he was a photographer
by proffesion while he was busy capturing some mesmerizing view,suddenly a bear attacked him somehow he managed to save his life but his leg is severely wounded....
Rhea's granny and Arjit became good friends as they start talking on some interesting topic and she was preparing dinner.In the midst of the talk the four eyes somehow contact and they share a smile,now Rhea's fear is gone.Her Granny told him that"Nobody visits here except the poachers so we feel lucky to have a guest so come here whenever you visit our Ranga para valley".
He replied "Why not aunty if someone don't feel bad" and he smile seeing Rhea .She turned her face,her face look red due to heat maybe...
Rhea called them to the dining table and they had a great dinner with rice dried bacon and wine ...After dinner all went to sleep ...Late night Arjit wake up by a whisper he was about to shout,a soft hand cover his mouth and said"its me Rhea".
"What are you doing here?" he asked
She replied"I came here to bandage your wound".
"No,No am Ok" he said.
Sssssshhhh.....Shut up and let me check"she said and start cleaning the wound and applied some medicinal leaves and bandaged it.....(to be continued)
