Chapter 13: House Anew
* 2 Month before leaving to the camp*
At one of the big families basement, there was a commotion in the house's special treasure room as one of the guards noticed a rainbow of lights coming from withing. He almost fainted from the shock and amazement, thankfully, he was one of the lucky few who had been chosen to specifically guard this room and knew about a special object inside. He knew that if anything new happened, or lights came from withing, he should report it and blow a sacred horn he was carrying outside to alert the whole house. He waited a couple seconds to make sure he wasn't imagining things and couldn't believe his luck when he at timed doubted he would ever witness this magnificent event. He took out the horn from the special case next to the room and ran outside while his friends guarded the regular treasure room had all been stuck to the ground as they saw him run by with the sacred horn. They were also shocked and couldn't believe that the light had finally appeared. They had all pitied him because they didn't believe the light would show on their generation, even though their grandparents had told them stories about it. They all wanted to be the guards of that special treasure room but as they grew, they thought it would have no benefit as they doubted such a thing actually existed and would happen so.
Special guard Shawn blew the sacred horn 3 long and loud times. It was in fact, 5 am in the morning. He could finally go home to his dying grandfather and tell him that his family had been honored with the privilege of announcing the awakening of that special item. He would personally lead the ceremony of finding and testing each family members to see who the chosen was. His grandfather could die knowing he in a way, was the chosen one to find this person. This house that had been bent in turmoil over succession, would kill two birds with one magnificent stone. Not only would they this special item shut up those trying to steal the position from his masters house, but would renew the house. Any time an item was awakened, it would only mean the renewal of the house, stronger than before. The only thing biting at his thoughts was that the light was a beautiful rainbow color on not the single bright light he thought it would look like.
*In one of the rooms of the house*
It was 4:58 am and the mother of the teenager lying in the bed was worried. She had been awakened by one of the special guards that the young master had been unwell all morning. She was staring at the sweat filled bed of her child. For 28 minutes straight, her child had been rolling in bed, moaning, and sweating profusely. The guard didn't know what was going on so she had to alert the mother. Nobody else was allowed to step inside this room except for this special guard and the parents. This young master, was in fact a girl. Because She and her husband Marko had been trying to conceive for quite a few years and finally had a child. To their disappointment it was a girl. Their grandfather was a backwards person and he would never allow an heir to be a female. Therefore, they decided to teach and train their daughter inside their own summer villa and make everyone in the family think that they had a boy. However, when she turned 13, they made them come live in the main house as they were growing suspicious. Thus her life as a boy began. This was necessary because her husbands brothers had male children and were fighting for the heir position ever since they had not been able to conceive. Even after giving birth they still wanted to take the power away from them because they had a child first and were willing to do everything to take it away. Her daughter would have no chance of proving herself if she had been announced as a female, they at least wanted to allow her to grow stronger until hopefully, in a few years she could consolidate all the power prove these backwards people wrong and live her true life. The mother was hoping that it was nothing serious, as they could only call one doctor who was faithful to them, and that person was out of town.
Then suddenly at 5 am, they heard a horn sound. At first no one in the house was awake, or let alone realize what his sound meant. It took them a couple minutes to realize the miracle that had happened and get changed. At that moment her daughter stopped and seemed to relax and breath in relief. Because of her "sickness," they were the last to come and gather at the courtyard next to the hall with the treasure rooms etc. The parents verily knew the significance, as it had been years since such an event had happened in their house. Their aging grandfather was the only one who knew more, and he knew because his grandfather had possessed that special house ring and knew of the importance. However, only the person wearing such ring knew of the special ability, and that book wasn't aloud to be read by anyone other than the wearers so he was also in the dark, other than on the General House Rings( GHR's).
The grandfather was the lord of house Anew, and his name was Lord Ignacious in Tycoon city. It could be said to be one of the oldest and whose power had gone down recently but no other was at their level; Only the Goodman's had risen to their level recently." He gather everyone and explained the significance. Everyone was amazed that it was finally happening and excited because this meant that the internal war would come to an end because it was tradition that whoever wore that Special House Ring would be the unquestionable future lord of the house. OF course they all thought it could only be a man and never thought a female could be chosen. Shawn led each male heir one by one to the spacial treasure room and led the ceremony to find the true heir and master of the SHR. Marko as the eldest son should have gone first, but because his "son" had been ill and took extra time to make him presentable, they lined up last. His brothers were all smirking at him, and knew it would be one of their sons who would win.
