Chapter 17: Enlightenment, Momentum, Control, and Release as One?!
Yue Yang was smiling happily watching Bing'er avoid three different colored orbs while hitting away two different colors. She had improved her bodies speed, flexibility and reactions time greatly, to think she had grown that much in just a few years. Bing'er was on her first break, still the New Years, from school and was demonstrating her half a years progress to her big brother. He wouldn't deny that he enjoyed watching her move, but among the small number of morals he still had was a very simple rule; Yes Loli, No Touch. Unless they are legal. He pointed out some ways that she could improve and started a short sparring session with her. The spar ended quickly because she tried to get a punch in on him and was pulled into a hug instead.
"Big Brother let me go!" She poured at him, blushing slightly due to the passive effects of his inherent skill stirring up feelings she didn't understand.
"Nope!" Yue Yang smiled shamelessly at her, "I haven't seen my Bing'er in half a year, I want to hug you for awhile." His shameless and cheesy lines had the desired effect of making the young girls face go even redder as she looked at the ground to hide her blush. Yue Yang held her in his embrace for a minute before letting her down. He took the expected kick to then shin then let her run off to cool down. Alright he may have already broken half the rule, but it was necessary. After all it's hard to raise a bro-con. Yue Yang happily spent his time with Ah Xian and Bing'er while she was in, though he entered his Home ID at night to meet with Xiao'er.
Yes he had been able to place down permanent IDs for awhile and even create special keys to get into them from anywhere a door was handy. Xiao'er believed this was created from the Rune knowledge his mother had left behind and that was partly true since he used Runes to establish key masters and to lock down the space coordinates. When he wasn't entertaining he was cultivating his first three innate spear arts, ever since he mastered the Verdant Spear Blossom he had a nagging feeling in the back of his head that the three skills were only part of a single ability. He had begun practicing chaining the three techniques together in battle, killing quite a number of beasts and humans in his IDs. As for the humans in his IDs he had tried contracting one before but failed. The humans were opponents in his Colosseum ID.
The training lasted a few months before he succeeded in creating an embryonic form of the technique that didn't feel clunky or forced. He of course enjoyed a happy life at night with Xiao'er while he waited for Zun Fei to enter her stable period. He wasn't worried about failing in conquering her, after all those years of interacting with her, he knew would have to be forceful. Within limits of course. It was another two months before he completely merged the techniques.
[Supreme] Solo Dance of Eclipse
It happened while he meditated on the Horizon Spear Waltz, he realized that it wasn't truly an attack. It was a method to gather a spears momentum, with almost no limit on how much it could gather. He gathered momentum until he couldn't control it before the Reflecting Spear Dance appeared in his mind and he began to perform it while trying to maintain the gathered momentum. It took a long time, but he gained control of the momentum and felt that his spear contained a near inexhaustible power. Until the common training spear shattered in his hand, breaking his training trance. It wasn't broken for long before he realized the problem, his spear was full of energy with no place to release it. So the answer was to use the Verdant Spear Blossom. The technique focused on releasing wood element Qi to attack from a distance so using it to release the gathered momentum from the spear was no problem. However he still felt that the technique was incomplete after release until he realized he had stayed in place the whole time. He began to control the momentum his spear produced and spread it throughout his body, releasing it through both his spear and body to shoot around the field.

CraftingManiac Yosh~ there is a nearly blank auxiliary chapter about the story and its system. However that should be fixed as you all start asking questions. Now a question of my own, should he wait until after Yue Feng is born or just go ahead and conquer a pregnant lady? I’m fine either way, personally I think my strike zone is way to wide... though my favorite feature on a woman is long straight hair, sadly few women grow out really long hair nowadays.
