Chapter 5: Leve Fatigue

He went up a level and just like a noob in a game he still did know what it meant so he looked up and saw the number above him has changed, from 1 it became 2.

He did not know what kind of significance this meant because he felt no power welling up inside him, but when he looked forward once more he saw a panel floating silently in front of him.

He knew most of the things written on the panel in front of him, but he did not know what it for so he did some digging and experiment with this new thing in front of him until he was able to add all three points to the strength.

With his strength increasing like this Qin was not sure if he did gain something out of this but when he stood up he felt his body lighter for some strange reason.
He then proceeded to picking up a stone nearby and threw it with all his might on the water nearby.
Fwoosh!
He threw it slightly pointing up so he can skip it on the surface of the water but instead of it landing on water and skipping like it should, the rock flew across the water for several meters which left a trailing mark on the water before losing its velocity and skipping on the water like it should and drifting down on the water like it should.
Estimating the distance Qin saw the stone reach around a couple tens of meters. It might sound trivial but the single fact it left a visible trail on the water surface while was moving forward means that the pressure it carried was immense meaning the strength Qin possesses was something immense at least in his own right.
With his previously meager strength Qin was now starting to raise his current one with just one level, however, he knew the needed balance so he noted down that he should also put some thoughts into the other statuses.
Without any more points in his status panel Qin proceeded to checking other areas of the panel in front of him.
[SHOP], [SKILL LIST], [INVENTORY], [MISSION BOARD] and some other things are listed on the panel there's other more panels but they are still locked for him to see them right now.
He did not know how to open them but just as he was observing his inventory, he saw his own full body image together with some kind of boxes floating near him.
Seeing the items he had on him, the only decent thing on his inventory was the weak and cheap short sword he finished checking the inventory so he proceeded to the Shop which was just below it.
'Oh, these things are good but the price is too much for me.'
He thought while seeing the various items in front of him. Qin was still unsure how this whole works but for some reason he was having thoughts that whatever he seeing right now is not an illusion.
The Shop his Inventory his Status he did not have any concrete evidence that such things was something that have connection to the physical world but after thinking his current position it was nothing but the single he could trust.
So with that he proceeded to the most important thing and that's his Skills. Opening the skill panel he proceeded to checking everything and when he open the skill list he saw three things.
[Phantom Body (PASSIVE): with the Phantom body the Seeker will have the ability to alter his own self without any problems, he will be able to control his strength, intelligence and other statuses he can also learn everything from Physical Skills to Magic Skills]
[Leveling (PASSIVE): allows user to gain experience after killing monsters which allows one to gain level, the more you kill the more you level up.]
[ITEM MANIA (PASSIVE) MAX: depending on your luck you will be able to get items from monsters you killed, the items you get will be redirected to your inventory after killing them.]
There were three skills and all of them were passive skills, it explained his current body situation and how he levels up from killing monsters, threads of questions were beginning to unravel inside his mind little by little as he began to understand his situation.
Qin started moving quietly in the darkness after seeing his status and what the panels can do for him, the fatigue was taking over his senses so he went to check out if there's a place where he could sleep.
He left the river side after washing the blood on himeslf and went wander around the area of the dungeon, checking the mini map on his right and saw that he was near the place called [Lycan Camp].
'So that's why a Lycan was near around this area.'
He threaded the path with care and silence in order for him to not attract any kind of attention, it took him a while but he was finally able to reach the end of his search not because he found a place to rest but because his body could not take any more strain and finally collapse.
This is just the start of the second day inside this dungeon and his body was already push to the limits, with his terrible luck he met dangerous monsters but because of that he found the will to survive and pushed himself to the brink of what he could achieve.
Qin went to sleep as his HP was restored and his fatigue washed away by the sweet dream of him getting out of this dungeon.
