The group of people Alice accompanied had as many as four people. They were four males, all rowdy and robust looking. She thought back to the time right now. The conference might have ended. Did they realize it yet that she was missing? She sighed but was startled by a rough voice.
"Hey, you! Are you just gonna stand there and do nothing?"
Alice raised her head a little and found that a tall, ugly looking man was howling at her. She steadied herself and spoke in a dry, deep voice, "I am going to work right away."
Saying so, she hurriedly made her way to the nearest computer. She just had to use her knowledge of hacking, but not under the watchful gazes of these rowdy bastards. She sighed once they left for their jobs around the corners.
The next thing that she did was to find the CCTV footage of the room her mother was staying in. She hurriedly tapered the footages of the violence and all was right. For now. she had to find a way to communicate with her Mom. She looked around in anticipation. The place was so highly developed. They might have something useful. Her eyes finally rested upon something useful and they shone brightly. She took a deep breath and turned to look at those rowdy men behind her. To her great relief, they were all busy and had their heads buried in whatever work they had.
She stood up from her seat without making much noise and found the giant announcing system. If she could just crack the security system, she could cut all the lines except the one room where her mother was staying. Or maybe she could use code language.
Yeah, code language!
The mother of spycraft!
Her eyes eventually formed happy crescents.
"Hey! What are you doing there?!" an angry growl was heard from behind her. Alice had her back stiffened. She took a deep breath and said in an awkward voice, "I saw someone moving along the right-wing corridor. So, I thought that I should warn the guards up there."
"What?!" the growl was terrifying and Alice held her breathe.
The next moment, she heard was a walkie-talkie command, "Guard Lee, this is code red. Do you copy? I repeat, do you copy?"
Mumbling commands, the rowdy leader moved out followed by the other two rowdies.
Alice heaved a sigh of relief. No wonder, this room was the control panel. She had just happened to step here by luck.
"Girl J, This is code red. Do you copy?"
Alice nearly jumped when she heard the voice. But she realized that she had a walkie-talkie attached to her dress. She grabbed it and pulled out the antenna, "I copy. What's the matter? Over."
She also noticed the batch inscribed- Girl J on her dress.
"Do you see someone moving now? Over."
A brilliant idea struck her mind as started to fly her fingers through the keyboard.
"Girl J, do you copy? Over."
"I copy. The suspect is moving over to the left-wing third corridor. Over."
Very well, she could manipulate these people and make the corridor leading to her mother's room clear and make her out. She hurried to the huge computer revealing all the CCTV footage. Taking its help, she first cracked the security code to the corridor and then cracked the digital code to her mother's room. With that done, she hurried towards the announcer and shut down the antenna before announcing in a coded voice.
