Chapter 22: CHAPTER~21
How can Amelia let Haley and Nia go without giving them any return gift, they made her sister to be strong and taught a wonderful lesson she needs to give them atleast a small thank you gift right. Amelia didn't let anyone to wait for long, she can't wait to give gift her as fast as she can. After all gift can't be waited.
All kinds of curious gazes were falling on Amelia, today they are watching lots of dramas. One after other, with unexpected news, now they are even more curious that Amelia has mentioned "gift". They are curious of what kind of gift is she presenting to whom. And surely Amelia's did not let them wait too long. The wall has suddenly projected the screen, the screen displays a picture of a man and women with an intimate picture both of them looked familiar to everyone. But their faces were not visible. Later another picture came into view, the man and women were the same but the background looks different. This time either their faces were not clear. The 3rd picture showed the same man and women kissing passionately, the man pulled the women closely and the side view of the man was visible. The man was very popular among the youth, he is the crush of the teenage girls Heart.
"Isn't he Haley Brown? Who is the girl in the picture?"
Don't know who shouted first in the ball everyone soon realised that the man is Haley Brown.
When the 1st pic was projected on the screen Nia and Haley's faces turned even more ugly. Indeed what can they expect from Kara's sister? Gift? Very well let's see what will happen when you will keep with Lee family. It was fine they can deny that they were not the one in it. But when Haley's face was shown in the picture he immediately took action. He can't ruin Nia's reputation. If their relationship is known to Nia's parents they won't accept, if it is known through media then they will never forgive him maybe they will even disown Nia as their daughter after all the Lee family cares more about reputation, so he can't let others to know about his relationship to others not yet.
He walked towards Kara, he believes that Kara will still love him just he need to ask for forgiveness. He will be the one to admit his relationship with Kara maybe that way she will be happy and forgive him.
"Kara don't expose our relationship to the public with this intimate sense after all few things need to kept from public."
Listening to Haley saying to Kara most of the people present in the ball believed him, after all the old Kara used to follow him wherever she used to go. But the present Kara infront of him got some sense with the help of her sister Amelia. And now seeing the photos displayed infront of everyone she is fuming in range already. Others might not guess who they are, but as Kara was close to both of them she could clearly say who the man and women are from the first photo, seeing their intimacy and the background she came to know they are in a 'very good' relationship from long time. Just by hearing the words from Haley she felt she is truly a fool to fall for him, how she fall for this shameless man.
Just when she was losing her temper Amelia walked to them preventing Haley going to to Kara.
"Mr. Haley are you saying the one with you in those pictures is my sister Kara?" She was still smiling as if the photos are just from some magazine.
Seeing her in all smiles Haley felt their is something wrong but her couldn't pin point it. He has just admitted the one in the photos is him and Kara, he can't go back on his words infront of this many people.
"Yes it me and your sister" he gave a awkward smile while saying this.
At the same time the photo on the screen changed this time both the photos were looking clear. The girls face was also clearly visible to every one. Seeing her blushing face with a hint of shyness and the man's face which is similar to the expression of a love sick person one can say this both are truly in a relationship, they match perfectly. The man and women are the famous models Hayes and Nia. Hayes want to rebut that pictures are fake but this time their were more n more pictures of them. He was tounge-tied.
Seeing the deadly pale face of Nia and Hayes, Kara felt both happy and sad, after all she loved him for real for more than a year now it was said all the love and the cheeky words he said were all fake, but she is not a fool to continue to believe in him to wait for him to change and return back to her. She knows well when to wake up from the so called dream. She need to thank God for him to let her know in advance, they have kept their relationship from the public and it will just remain in the same way forever unless it needs to be known.
"I don't think she doesn't look like my sister, my sister is a natural beauty even if one can make them self look like her they can't get the confidence and the charisma like her." Amelia said while looking proudly towards Nia.
Nia clearly sensed the words were directed to her but she is not in a position to say anything. She did tried to look like her, ever her director wanted her to perform and look like Kara when she was replacing her. However she just barely satisfied the director. In truth they couldn't saying anything to Nia as they were afraid of her family.
Haley also just stood like a statue he should have thought she will have full evidence when she showed the blur photos at first it must to let everyone to know that he is cheating with Nia on Kara. If he had a chance then he would have killed Kara right now but he couldn't. Nia left the ball in a range, followed by Hayes. The most important thing for people like them is reputation and dignity. They don't know how they can face the media and others now they need to make up a plan.
"okay everyone the show is over, hope you enjoyed. You may leave." Kara said to other members in the party. Soon the ball was only left with Lopez family and Linda's family (Kara's material family).
