Chapter 70: Flashbacks (Part 6)
Living in New Zealand with her BFF was far more better, peaceful and had helped Mj recover quick from her loss and heart aches.
In just 1 year she managed to obtain her permanent residency there without having had to marry someone there.
Ja and George have helped her a lot in her recovery. Added to the help was Little Michael too, for she was fond of his cuteness, innocence and curiousity. Little Michael grew up knowing Mj as his beautiful Aunt. She never got bored playing with him and teaching him. Just like his mom Ja, Little Michael is a little bubbly and fun to be with.
"Aunt Mj, who created the stars and the moon?"
"Our ever powerful God."
"Who created God then?" Little Michael with an increasing curiousity.
Stunned, it took her some seconds to answer the kid, "Hmmm, he created himself."
"Really? We are created by God's image, does that mean we can create our own self too, like God did?"
"No, although we were created by God's image, we don't have such great powers as God has."
"How come?"
"I don't know. It's just that God is omnipotent, the beggining and the end of everything. No one can surpass his power. He is the most powerful of everything."
"Ah he is the most powerful of everything. Just like Optimus Prime in transformer he is the leader of them all and no one can defeat him."
"God is more powerful than those transformers more beyond powerful than Optimus Prime, Little Michael."
"Can God transform too like the transformers?" Little Michael's eyes widened.
"He can do more than that, beyond our imaginations." Smiled and assured Mj.
In her mind, Little Michael's curiousity and inquisitive mind is what makes him cute and smart at the same time. This kid can make the world of anyone be merry and never be boring, like she's feeling right now.
In the meantime while she's looking for work, she's baby sittting Little Michael and at the same time, teaching him.
And to her amazement, she never got bored babysitting and teaching him. It was like the kid is the source of her sunshine and hope for the future. That someday she will have her own family, a husband that truly loves her and a child that she treasures so much too.
"Aunt Mj, what are you thinking now?" seeing Mj in deep thought, Little Michael asked.
"Ah, just something..Hmmm... maybe I could have a cute kid as cute and smart as you? hmmm....maybe..."
"Really? Yeheey, I could have a playmate then!" Little Michael happily clapped his hands.
Mj laughed. "You're so excited little one. Would you like it to be a boy or a girl?"
"A girl."
"Why not a boy then?"
"Hmm.. just like Mom and Dad... they are a boy and a girl, right?"
"Yeah. I see, you would like a girl as your playmate to be as your pair or partner in playing. Well then, you should ask God about it. Coz God answers prayers too."
"How will I pray? Teach me please...." Little Michael pouting his mouth as if asking a candy.
"Okay, first you praise God for he is our creator, then you thank him for our lives, then you ask specifically what you want to happen in the future. But dont forget to ask forgivenes for all our sins."
"Okay, I don't know how to praise him nor I don't know what sins have I done.... so can I just go directly specific to ask him of what I want to happen in the future?"
"Yes, you can directly ask Him in your prayers. After all, the prayers of the purehearted, He hears and answers them quicker. You have a pure heart, who knows, He might answer you quick."
"Okay. God, please give Aunt Mj someone who will truly love her and marry her. And then please grant her a baby girl so that I have a playmate/partner in playing."
Listening to Little Michael's prayer, Mj couldn't help but be amazed at how specific and yet pure his prayers were. She couldn't help but felt grateful and blessed at that moment, even though she is yet uncertain of her future then.
"Amen." Little Michael ended.
"Amen." Mj seconded with a smile.
After praying, both Little Michael and Mj has a unique glow in their eyes. It's like a glow from within their hearts that overflowed and can be seen in both their eyes.
Few months after, she started working as a casual worker at first at the New Zealand Embassy. Then she got promoted and promoted until she's at the higher-ups position now and that is being the Female Administrator.
Little did she know that she would end up with Karl still, and that they will have a beautiful daughter in the future....as what Little Michael have prayed for her.....a prayer answered by God....
